This 72m Admiral yacht is the first of two identical hulls built in partnership between The Italian Sea Group (TISG) and Giorgio Armani.
A Vision of Armani at Sea
Both yachts were fully conceived by Armani himself and built under TISG’s Admiral brand, translating his architectural precision and refined restraint into yacht form. With a 6,000-nautical-mile range, the vessel integrates power and poise, presenting a modern interpretation of Italian style and maritime capability.

Both identical hulls are extraordinary, with innovative lines and unlike any profile that has come before them, focusing on indoor-outdoor living and an impressive selection of exciting amenities."

From her sharply drawn geometry to her sculptural curves, the exterior bears Armani’s unmistakable hand. The satin metallic hull finish and vast glazing give the yacht an ever-changing character, with light playing across her surfaces in a way that feels more sculptural than mechanical. Her decks are clean and uncluttered, defined by hidden detailing and flush lines that keep the focus on proportion and form.
Armani’s Architecture at Sea
Key outdoor spaces reflect Armani’s belief in calm, ordered design. The sun deck forms a private retreat, featuring an aft pool, bar, fire lounge, and day head beneath open skies.

The bridge deck on board the yacht includes a gazebo-style dining area, panoramic wheelhouse, and the captain’s quarters.

On the main deck, guests find additional lounges and direct access to a tender garage, while the lower deck houses a beach club with sauna, steam room, and gym, connected by large sea terraces that open onto the water.

The owner’s deck serves as a self-contained haven with alfresco dining, a private bar, and sunbathing terraces extending from a full-beam suite.

Inside the Armani-Designed Admiral
Inside, Armani’s influence is unmistakable. Both the interior design and furnishings are drawn from the Armani/Casa collection, defined by restraint, symmetry, and material precision. The aesthetic of the motor yacht is calm and textural, emphasizing proportion over ornamentation.

The main salon features opposing sofas and a forward dining area framed by floor-to-ceiling glazing, maximizing natural light and sea views. Additional guest spaces include a cinema, games lounge, and a wellness area with a sauna, steam room, and massage facilities.

The yacht accommodates 14 guests across seven cabins, supported by a crew of 20. The owner’s deck provides a private suite with its own lounge, bar, and dining area leading to an outdoor terrace with a counter-current pool and shaded seating. Each of the six guest suites on the main deck benefits from the yacht’s 12.2-meter beam, ensuring generous proportions and privacy throughout.

A palette of pale blues, silvers, and warm neutrals sets the tone, complemented by custom Rubelli fabrics, rare stones, and finely grained Canaletto walnut. Materials such as Black Marquinia and golden Calacatta marble introduce depth and contrast, while integrated lighting and mirrored accents enhance the sense of quiet sophistication.
The Build and Partnership Behind the Yacht
Built to Lloyd’s Register standards and classed for ice navigation, the yacht exemplifies The Italian Sea Group’s commitment to precision engineering and craftsmanship. Her full-displacement hull provides stability on extended voyages, while her 6,000-nautical-mile range enables transoceanic cruising.

IYC has been involved in the project since its inception, with Global Managing Partner Michel Chryssicopoulos overseeing the design collaboration, sale of both hulls, and resale of the first in 2024. “Both identical hulls are extraordinary, with innovative lines and unlike any profile that has come before them, focusing on indoor-outdoor living and an impressive selection of exciting amenities,” he noted.
The Second Armani Admiral: Project Visionary
Due for delivery in 2026, superyacht Project Visionary is the second 72m Admiral vessel designed by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with Armani/Casa. Built by The Italian Sea Group, she follows the same design philosophy as her sister ship, with smooth geometric lines, a dark glazing band, and a poised, upright profile that accentuates her 12.2-meter beam. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure to Lloyd’s Register standards, the yacht also has an ice-class hull for global cruising.

Inside, six guest suites accommodate up to 12 guests, including a full-beam owner’s suite and a VIP cabin, supported by a 19-strong crew. Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M63 engines, she achieves a top speed of 15 knots and a 6,000-nautical-mile range at 11 knots. Like her sister ship, Project Visionary represents Armani’s measured approach to design - minimal, elegant, and technically refined.
Together, the two Armani-designed Admiral yachts represent a rare intersection of fashion, architecture, and superyacht engineering. Defined by quiet elegance and exacting detail, they stand as enduring examples of Italian artistry brought to life on the water.
