On Deck
The Baglietto T52 Hybrid offers a fresh take on superyacht exterior spaces, starting aft with an extended beach club that’s unlike anything else out there. The two-tiered design serves as both a raised swim platform and a beach club, sitting 1.5m to 2m (4.9ft to 6.6ft) above the water. The transom door folds down for full water access, but also provides a secure, high barrier when needed. If you’re worried about following seas - don’t be. Efficient drainage systems handle any water wash with all the hardware hidden below decks. You get a massive unified swim platform with the signature “Baglietto T52” marking the actual transom.
A long passerelle bridges this extended aft area, complete with a staircase for easy boarding. Twin oversized sunpads welcome you aboard for instant relaxation right on the waterline, so you can kick back even before you’ve reached the cockpit.
Step up to the upper deck and you’re greeted by a freshwater pool. Here’s the clever part: the layered pool cover creates a flush deck, so when the pool’s not in use, it blends right in. Removable rails vanish to keep clean lines, and the sturdy material lets this area double as regular deck space.
Forward, there’s a standout sun lounge with huge sunpads and an elaborate sunshade system supported by eight hefty poles. The retractable forward staircase, a rare sight on superyachts, offers slick access to the sun deck when you want it, and disappears for that classic, streamlined Baglietto look when you don’t.
All the way forward, you’ll spot a retractable carbon fibre mast (required on vessels over 50m) and a working foredeck that blends crew practicality with a spot for guests to admire the yacht’s lines - maybe while sipping something cold and watching the world go by.
On the sundeck, you’ll find a large infinity-edge pool with overflow channels and glass walls that give it that seamless, endless-water look. Social seating wraps around the pool for those who want to join in without getting wet. There’s a pop-up TV, plush settees, an electric grill, ice maker, drink fridge, storage, and a dumbwaiter for direct service from the galley. Overhead, a glass roof can turn opaque for sun protection at the push of a button. Further aft, the alfresco dining table easily seats 10-12 and matches the deck’s stone and teak theme - a motif that repeats throughout the yacht.
The bridge deck offers even more lounging: sliding and accordion doors open the lounge up to the elements or close it off for comfort, continuing the mix of wood, stone, and soft furnishings. Skylights run down from the sundeck, keeping the space bright and airy.
Interior Accommodation
Inside, the T52 Hybrid feels more like a cozy Italian villa than a traditional yacht, with soft beach house vibes, warm woods, stone surfaces, and plush, home-style furniture. The main salon is inviting, not precious, with deep seating, an artful centerpiece, and indirect lighting tucked into recesses for a gentle ambiance. The drop-down TV and hidden day head on entry show off the yacht’s attention to detail. Skylights above bring natural light through several decks, and the bulwarks use glass to keep the sea always in view.
The galley is huge - one of the largest you’ll see on a yacht this size. The owner wanted open space instead of an island, but there’s plenty of room for one if you prefer. Features include Sub-Zero fridge/freezer, multiple commercial dishwashers (two just for the galley level), a sparkling water tap, induction and gas hobs, deep fryer, steam oven, and tons of refrigeration and storage. Dedicated chef and sous chef stations mean both owner/guest and crew meals can be prepared simultaneously. The galley is closed off, but a glass panel allows easy communication with the crew mess.
Pantries and stewards’ stations dot every deck, with drink fridges, coffee makers, ice makers, microwaves, and dumbwaiters for effortless service. Even the bridge deck lounge has a hotplate, vented sink, and commercial dishwasher - perfect for cocktail parties or sundowners without trekking to the main galley.
Owner's Cabin
The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and radiates relaxation. Large windows flood the space with light and views. There’s no office or settee - the owner wanted a pure vacation space, so storage lines both sides instead. Hidden storage and a drink fridge are tucked away, and the bed faces the sea for the best possible wake-up view. Hanging lockers sit on either side.
Through a sliding pocket door, the ensuite bathroom is a real retreat. The shower could fit five people, with indirect and overhead lighting, a soaking tub for two, dual vanities with plenty of storage, and a separate toilet and bidet - everything behind sturdy, solid doors.
Guest Accommodation
Four main guest cabins are found below deck: two twin cabins (each with a Pullman) and two double cabins with king beds. The twin cabins offer built-in storage, hanging lockers, and thoughtful touches like outlets in drawers. Each ensuite features a rain shower, bidet, and backlit mirrors. The showers are easily big enough for two, finished in teak and Italian marble with an orange peel texture.
The double cabins have even more space, with king-size beds, homey sideboards, large windows, and built-in TVs with indirect lighting. Each has three hanging lockers, and the bathrooms are finished in leather with oversized showers (room for three), teak benches, and rain shower heads.
An extra overflow cabin sits forward - a flexible space for a perhaps a masseuse, extra guests or crew on long passages. It has a Pullman berth, a huge ensuite head, and the same fit and finish as the main guest spaces.
Crew Accommodation
Crew have their own dedicated entrance and staircase, leading to spacious quarters that rival some owner accommodations. There’s a professional laundry room with two washers, two dryers, a sink, and loads of storage. Crew cabins are generous, with hanging lockers, pop-up desks, privacy curtains, and proper bathrooms with large showers. A crew mess is adjacent to the galley, with TV (also a repeater for ship systems), microwave, and space for service setup. The galley has a glass communication panel for easy crew-owner interaction without breaking food prep regulations.
The bridge deck includes a captain’s cabin with great views and a bench for off-watch crew or guests to hang out near the action.
A massive lazarette - big enough for two or three cars - handles water toys, fenders (no need to deflate, just toss them in), and everything needed for fun or maintenance.
Performance
Down below, the engine room on the T52 Hybrid is a serious commercial-grade setup. Entry is secure and water-protected, dropping you into the engineer’s workspace before you enter the main machinery space. The yacht runs just under 500 gross tons, with a length of 52m (170.6ft). Power comes from twin MTU V16 2000 M86 engines, each putting out 1,630kW, paired with two Siemens electric motors at 150kW each. This hybrid system means you can cruise on diesel, electric, or hybrid power, and battery banks can run house loads without firing up the generators.
Two huge generators keep things running quietly, and a watermaker ensures there’s always enough fresh water for guests, crew and cleaning. The engine room houses a full array of fresh water pumps, compressed air for starting, fire suppression, and ventilation systems. Redundant watertight bulkheads and breaker panels keep everything safe and operational on long passages.
In Summary
The Baglietto T52 Hybrid takes the classic superyacht and flips the script - melding Italian villa warmth with hybrid technology. On deck, the tiered beach club, clever pool integration, and flexible sun lounges set the tone for relaxation and fun. Inside, the yacht is all about comfort: plush, home-style furnishings, plenty of space to entertain, and thoughtful details at every turn.
Hybrid propulsion means owners can choose how they cruise, from silent electric running to full diesel power for longer trips. Owners who want to get involved can host parties, join the crew for sundowners on the sundeck, or just enjoy the ride knowing everything’s been thought of - from the dumbwaiters to the commercial-grade galley and laundry. This yacht lets you dream big - and then live that dream, every day you’re aboard.
