On Deck

The Offshore C70 is a 22.86-meter (75-foot) semi-displacement motor yacht designed for serious coastal cruising, with wide walkarounds, deep bulwarks, and nice detailing from bow to stern. The aft deck features a spacious fixed section that forms part of the hull and an adjoining hydraulic swim platform, large enough to accommodate a significant tender. This serves as the yacht’s primary tender lift and water-access platform, and is equipped with a tucked-away swim ladder, transom shower, freshwater hookup, and pop-up cleats. A transom door leads to the crew quarters and engine room.

There are multiple shore power inlets, a cable reel remote, and boarding access from both port and starboard sides, with a dedicated, recessed storage point for the boarding ladder. High-sided rails and dual side gates improve safety at sea, particularly with children or pets on board. Engine ventilation and the fuel tank fill, which includes a digital gauge, are integrated cleanly into the topsides.

At the bow, a wide, sunken foredeck features a built-in bench ideal for cushions or loungers, with overhead lighting, horn, radar, satellite domes, and VHF antennas mounted above on the hardtop. The single stainless ultra anchor is operated via a windlass and foot switches, and the anchor locker is impressively deep with limber holes, shelving, and forward chain storage.

The cockpit is suited to alfresco dining and social use, with a large fixed table and a built-in bench that comfortably seats eight. On this particular hull, the owner added custom fans to enhance airflow in warm climates, a good example of the yard’s willingness to accommodate experienced owners’ requests. A molded staircase, rather than a ladder, leads up to the flybridge.

The flybridge on the Offshore C70 feels more like an 85-footer in scale. There's open space aft that can be used for sun loungers, freestanding furniture, or a portable hot tub. Some models also position a second tender here using a davit. A hardtop above offers protection and houses additional nav equipment. A weather hatch over the stairwell helps keep the cockpit below dry.

This area is designed for entertaining, with a large Blaze propane barbecue, slide-out tank storage, a sink, refrigeration, drawer storage, and plenty of prep space. Dining tables on sliders can convert from coffee tables to full dining setups, with seating for up to 10 using additional chairs. Forward, a starboard settee near the helm provides a comfortable social perch.

The upper helm is fully equipped for extended passages, with dual Garmin multifunction displays, MAN engine monitors, joystick control with integrated bow and stern thrusters, autopilot, VHF, trim tabs, FLIR night vision, and more. Visibility from the helm is excellent. The area can be enclosed with soft panels for year-round use, including AC ducting for hot or cold climates.

Interior Accommodation

Inside, the Offshore C70 delivers a quiet, climate-controlled environment thanks to an efficient thermodynamic AC system. Sliding glass doors connect the saloon with the aft deck, creating a wonderful flow when open. The interior design walks a fine line between tradition and contemporary, using warm woods, soft textures, and clean lines to give a modern look.

The galley is positioned aft and fully equipped for long-term cruising or entertaining. It includes a full-height fridge and freezer, a four-burner electric cooktop, oven, drawer dishwasher, dual fridge/freezer drawers, microwave, and a wine fridge. There’s a designated coffee bar, deep sink with InSinkErator disposal, pantry drawers, and extensive cabinetry throughout.

Forward of the galley, the main saloon features a high-low table with folding leaves for flexible dining, a pop-up TV, and plentiful storage. This hull includes a custom-built home office with filing drawers, a built-in printer, and a dedicated desk, showing the layout’s adaptability. Upholstery and finishes feel upscale, and larger windows throughout flood the space with natural light.

One step up from the saloon leads into the pilothouse. Although open to the rest of the deck, it has a defined function with twin helm chairs, a raised dinette, and superb visibility in every direction. Overhead hatches add natural airflow, and watertight doors to port and starboard give quick access to the decks. The pilothouse helm mirrors the flybridge in function, with dual Garmin displays, joystick and shift/throttle controls, FLIR night vision, trim tabs, watermaker controls, AC system panel, and ignition switches all in easy reach.

Owner's Cabin

The full-beam owner’s suite is located aft and features a king-size bed, extensive drawer storage, dual cedar-lined hanging lockers, and a cushioned settee that doubles as a daybed. There’s even additional storage beneath the bed and within the cabinetry, all finished to a high standard. Design-wise, the suite is in a Hamptons beach house style, with a bright coastal color palette and clean joinery.

The ensuite owner’s head is fitted with twin sinks, mirrored cabinets, large windows, and a walk-in shower big enough for two to four people. The shower includes a built-in bench and excellent ventilation through openable portholes.

Guest Accommodation

This layout features four staterooms, offering flexibility for families or guest use. Forward is the VIP cabin with a queen-size bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, drawer storage, and an ensuite head with a generous shower and counter space. The cabin benefits from large windows and an escape hatch for natural light and airflow.

To port midship is a spacious bunk cabin with more floor space than is typical for this arrangement. Each berth has easy access and there's good storage, including a hanging locker and drawers. An openable porthole and TV complete the setup.

To starboard is a guest cabin with a full-size bed, which could easily accommodate two adults. This space shares the day head with the bunk cabin and includes a large shower, storage, and a sizable sink. On the three-cabin layout option, this entire area converts to a larger full-beam stateroom with ensuite.

Crew Accommodation

Crew accommodation is accessed through the transom and is simple but functional. There’s a toilet and sink with the option for a wet head, plenty of storage, and flexible flooring choices to suit owner preference. Most owners will likely run this yacht with just a captain or captain and mate, though the space could be upgraded for light charter use.

Performance

The engine room is bright, spacious, and exceptionally laid-out for servicing. The Offshore C70 is powered by twin MAN V8 diesel engines, each producing 1,000 hp. She cruises comfortably between 16 and 19 knots, with a top speed of 21.5 knots and a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Fuel capacity is 6,056 liters (1,600 US gallons) and fresh water storage is 1,476 liters (390 US gallons). The hull is constructed from GRP and designed with semi-displacement geometry for efficient long-range cruising. A single generator is installed, supported by a lithium-ion house bank large enough to run overnight loads without additional power.

Systems include a hydraulic pack for zero-speed fin stabilizers, air conditioning compressor, fuel manifold with sight gauges, watermaker, battery chargers, inverter setup, and solar prep. There is space allocated for a second generator, although it's not required in this configuration. The escape hatch above leads directly to the cockpit.

Ownership Considerations

The Offshore C70 has a projected starting price of around $5,000,000, positioning it in the upper end of the semi-displacement cruising market. Annual running costs typically range from 10-12% of the yacht’s value, or approximately $500,000 to $600,000 per year. This includes expenses for crew, dockage, insurance, maintenance, fuel, and operational services such as cleaning, provisioning, and communications. In lower-cost regions, with simpler usage patterns or where the owner is hands-on and assumes some management or upkeep tasks, total operating costs could approach the lower end of the range - as little as 8–9% of the yacht’s value annually.

The Offshore C70’s efficient layout and reliable systems make it a strong candidate for owner-operators or light crewed programs. While not primarily aimed at the charter market, it could be considered for selective chartering given it has a four-cabin layout, full-beam master, and excellent flybridge entertaining space. Charter revenue could help offset running costs.

Build quality, system accessibility, and semi-custom interior options contribute to a healthy resale profile, particularly among buyers seeking a capable offshore cruiser in the 70 to 75-foot class. Comparable yachts in this segment include the Fleming 78, Grand Banks 85 and Outer Reef 720.

In Summary

The Offshore C70 CE is a 22.86-meter (75-foot) semi-displacement motor yacht built for serious cruising, with twin 1,000 hp MANs, a 1,500-nautical-mile range, and a quiet, efficient setup that includes lithium-ion batteries and thermodynamic AC. Inside, the full-beam owner’s suite, forward VIP, and two guest cabins offer proper comfort, while the galley and saloon feel more like a home than a showpiece. The flybridge is expansive, with space to relax, cook, or helm with excellent visibility. Designed for real-world use, this yacht blends traditional seakeeping with modern touches and owner-driven flexibility.
