Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.4m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 121 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Adventurer is a 28.7m (94.2ft) Burger Boat motor yacht, and her raised pilothouse profile reflects classic American yacht design while later updates bring a more open, practical feel. Originally delivered in 1985 with design input from Jack Hargrave, Jack Bursack, and Burger Boat Company, the yacht carries clean lines, a long sheer, and a balanced superstructure that still reads well today.
A key change came in 1998, when the aft deck was redesigned with a more European-style stern. This extended the usable deck space and added a fourth stateroom below, while also improving access to the swim platform via an integrated stairway. That update shifts the yacht toward a more social, water-focused layout without losing the original character.
The flybridge is set up for both operation and guest use, with duplicated navigation systems and three helm seats positioned just aft of the main controls. A venturi windscreen deflects airflow, while a full-beam Bimini shades the seating area. Built-in L-shaped seating runs along both sides aft, with storage below, and there is a wet bar, fridge, and ice maker, so the space works well for extended time outdoors.
Interior Design
Inside, Adventurer leans into a traditional, warm style, with extensive wood finishes and a layout built for relaxed family use. The main saloon feels open and bright due to long horizontal windows, and it combines lounge seating with a dining area in a single space, so it works easily for day-to-day living.
The interior shown carries a lighter, more casual tone than older high-gloss finishes, with soft furnishings, woven textures, and neutral colours balancing the woodwork. A built-in bar sits between the lounge and dining areas, adding a social focal point without breaking the flow.
The raised pilothouse sits forward and above, giving clear visibility and a separate working space, while the rest of the interior stays focused on comfort.
Accommodation
Adventurer accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 staterooms, including a master suite, VIP cabin, one double, and one twin. All cabins have en suite bathrooms.
The additional fourth cabin was introduced during the aft deck redesign, which improves flexibility for families or mixed guest groups. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C18) engines, motor yacht Adventurer is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 16,277 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,200 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
