Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 3.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 161 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The 31.5m (103.4ft) Balkan comes from a period when Italian builders competed to deliver ever-greater volume without sacrificing speed or style. As one of only seven Falcon 102s built, she represents Falcon Yachts' answer to rivals such as the Sanlorenzo SL100 and Ferretti Custom Line models that dominated the Mediterranean flybridge market during the mid-2000s.
Her exterior was designed by Stefano Righini, one of the most influential yacht designers of the modern era. Best known for shaping generations of Azimut yachts and high-performance Mangustas, Righini built his reputation on making large yachts appear lower, longer and faster than their dimensions suggest. Balkan carries many of those familiar design cues. A band of dark teardrop-shaped glazing stretches through the superstructure, visually reducing the yacht's height, while the radar arch flows into the flybridge structure to create a clean, uninterrupted profile.
The Falcon 102's raised pilothouse arrangement plays an important role in the yacht's appearance and layout. By lifting the wheelhouse above the main deck, Righini created the stepped profile that defines the model while also freeing valuable space forward for an on-deck master suite. This approach became a hallmark of many premium flybridge yachts of the era because it separated guest and operational areas without increasing overall height.
The hull itself reflects the yacht's performance brief. A moderately deep-V planing form, fine bow entry and gently flared forward sections allow Balkan to cruise comfortably at 23 knots while maintaining the sleek, athletic stance expected of an Italian performance yacht. The long sweep of the sheer line draws the eye aft towards a broad swim platform, while the wide 6.46m (21.2ft) beam is carefully disguised through the use of elongated glazing and tapered superstructure lines.
Outdoor living centres on the expansive flybridge, which combines a secondary helm station with dining, lounging and sunbathing areas. Below, the aft cockpit forms a sheltered social space connected directly to the swim platform, while walkaround side decks lead forward to additional seating and sunpads on the foredeck. The arrangement reflects the Mediterranean cruising lifestyle that shaped the Falcon 102's design from the outset, with large outdoor spaces given equal importance to the interior accommodation.

Balkan offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
