Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.98m beam and a 2.05m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 295 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twelfth yacht built on the Grande Trideck design. She was delivered to her owners in April 2024.
Exterior Design
Blue Eyes is built on Azimut’s Grande Trideck platform, measuring around 38m (125ft), and the profile reflects a shift away from traditional stacked decks toward a more sculpted, layered form. Alberto Mancini’s design uses carbon fibre in the superstructure to control weight, so the yacht carries its volume without looking heavy, while the wide-body beam, close to 8m (26.2ft), runs far forward and gives the hull a solid, planted stance as well as supporting large internal and external spaces.
The stern defines the yacht, as the cascading layout steps down from the sundeck through multiple levels to the water, forming four connected terraces. At the top, the sundeck holds a bar, BBQ, twin sofas, and a hi-lo dining table, while below, the upper aft deck carries a full dining setup for twelve and connects directly to the sky lounge. The next level forms a sheltered cockpit set beneath the raised mezzanine, so it stays private when moored stern-to.
At water level, the beach club runs full height, which is unusual in this size bracket, and a fold-down swim platform extends the space as a wet bar and shower turn it into a proper day area rather than a simple access point. The tender garage sits to starboard, so the central beach club stays open and usable even when toys are deployed.
Forward, the bow is arranged as a private lounge with a jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, and its position keeps it shielded from the quay, so it works well in busy marinas. Across the yacht, large areas of glazing and cutaway sections in the structure reduce visual mass while bringing light into the interior.
Interior Design
The interior follows Azimut’s contemporary approach, with clean lines and a focus on open, flexible spaces. The main saloon uses full-height glazing to bring in light, with an L-shaped sofa and loose seating arranged around a central table. The layout keeps sightlines open from aft to forward, so the space feels wider than the beam already allows.
Above, the sky lounge adds a second interior social area. A curved sofa anchors the space, while a convertible dining setup allows it to switch between lounge and formal use. A pantry with a wine cooler supports service on this level, so the upper deck works independently from the main saloon when needed. Direct access to the aft deck keeps movement between inside and outside straightforward.
Accommodation
Superyacht Blue Eyes accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with space for six crew in three cabins. The layout spreads cabins across multiple decks to increase privacy.
The owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and uses the full beam. Large windows bring in light, while the layout includes a desk, walk-in storage, and a marble en suite bathroom with electric curtains controlling privacy and light levels.
A second VIP cabin is placed on the upper deck, which is rare at this size. Its elevated position gives wide views through large windows, so it feels separate from the rest of the guest accommodation.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000M96L) 16-cylinder 2,600hp engines, motor yacht Blue Eyes is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 23,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,700 nautical miles at 12 knots.
