Fort Lauderdale, FL, USASamsara is a 100'5" expedition yacht for sale delivered by Maxi in 2006. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Overing Yacht Designs, while Kirschstein Designs Ltd is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 24'11" beam and a 7'9" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 224 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Overing 100 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Accommodation
Samsara offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3406E) 600hp engines, motor yacht Samsara is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 9,510 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,450 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
