31m CDM Darwin 102 Motor Yacht Haze² Delivered

Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) has delivered the 31 motor yacht Haze² to her experienced British owner, marking another milestone for the Italian builder

Fresh from her June launch, the Cantiere delle Marche Darwin 102 explorer has now completed sea trials and handover and is preparing for her first cruising season in the Caribbean this winter, followed by a Mediterranean program in 2026.

A Refined Explorer Vision

The owner of Haze², a returning client of London-based studio Lawson Robb, approached Cantiere delle Marche with a clear objective: to build a yacht capable of true global exploration. Having previously owned the smaller Haze, he wanted a vessel that could cross oceans and sustain long-range travel without compromising comfort or style.

To achieve that, Haze² was commissioned as a Darwin 102 - a model known for its deep hull form, long-range autonomy, and robust engineering. The superyacht was managed with support from Andrew Bond of Fraser Yachts, while naval architecture and exterior styling were developed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, who has shaped the Darwin line since its inception.

Exterior Styling and Features

Naval architecture and exterior styling are by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, continuing the reputation of the Cantiere delle Marche Darwin Class for robust, ocean-ready explorers. Haze² carries a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, her metallic grey hull contrasting a blue upper profile for a confident, purposeful look.

Several refinements distinguish her from previous Darwin models, including a custom wheelhouse windscreen that improves forward visibility and subtly reshapes the yacht’s silhouette. Thr tender crane on board the motor yacht has been discreetly integrated within a compartment at the aft end of the Sun Deck - an engineering solution inspired by CdM’s RJ line that leaves decks clear and uncluttered.

Interior design comes from London studio Lawson Robb, which collaborated closely with the owner to create a calm, modern setting suited to both private and charter use. The interior centers on low-gloss materials, open-grain veneers, and natural tones accented by brushed bronze and mosaic details.

Two light-filled saloons provide flexibility for social or relaxed use, while custom lighting follows the yacht’s architectural curves to enhance flow throughout. The Owner’s Stateroom sits forward on the Main Deck, with four additional cabins on the Lower Deck accommodating up to 12 guests. Crew quarters for six include a Captain’s cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse.

Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 Acert diesel engines, Haze² reaches 13 knots and cruises comfortably at 11. Her 41,866-liter fuel capacity provides a 3,960-nautical-mile range at 10 knots, ensuring autonomy for transoceanic passages.

Conceived for an experienced yachtsman and returning CdM client, Haze² was built to travel anywhere with comfort and confidence.
