Originally developed with a stronger expedition focus, the XPD95 has evolved into a bespoke yacht following several months of collaboration between the owner, Antonini Navi co-founder and sales director Aldo Manna, and the shipyard's team. Exterior design is by Sculli & Covini and interiors are by Hot Lab.
The owner was reportedly drawn to the original concept and exterior profile, asking the yard to retain its identity while adapting the yacht around his cruising, comfort and lifestyle requirements.
Hot Lab is responsible for an interior intended to create a warm and understated atmosphere, with natural materials and strong visual connections between the enclosed spaces and surrounding decks. Eucalyptus will form the principal timber throughout the yacht, paired with lacquered finishes, leather, fabrics, metal detailing and natural stone. Furnishings will use softer forms, while glazing and sightlines have been considered to extend views towards the exterior areas.
The layout has been developed around the owner's intended use rather than a conventional multi-deck arrangement. Keeping the XPD95 within 199 gross tons has led to a predominantly horizontal configuration, concentrating the main functions into fewer levels while retaining significant private and guest spaces.
Construction of the yacht will be overseen by Camper & Nicholsons, with Daniela Duck acting as Owner's Representative throughout the build.
The wheelhouse takes cues from ocean-going tugboats, while polished stainless steel is used within operational areas. Despite those commercial-vessel references, the expedition yacht has been developed primarily for Mediterranean cruising. Outdoor living is concentrated into several large areas rather than a dedicated sundeck. The main deck cockpit measures approximately 44sqm, while the upper deck incorporates a 33sqm foredeck living area.
A further 35sqm multifunctional beach area is positioned aft. While underway, it can carry a 5m tender without completely removing the space from guest use. Once the tender is launched, the area becomes an open terrace at water level. A transformer platform assists with tender handling, swimming access and watersports.
Privacy for the owner has become one of the defining elements of the XPD95's layout. An entire Owner's Deck provides approximately 60sqm of private space, split between a 25sqm interior and an adjoining 35sqm terrace overlooking the sea.
The private deck can be reached from inside the explorer yacht or independently by a protected staircase on the port side, giving the owner the option of moving between private and shared areas without passing through the principal guest spaces.
Crew circulation has also received particular attention. Around 23sqm of crew accommodation is positioned amidships on the lower deck, separating the guest areas from the engine room.
The XPD95 retains the construction associated with its expedition origins, combining a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure. Antonini Navi describes the yacht as retaining long-range DNA while being configured primarily around Mediterranean use.

Construction is due to begin in autumn 2026, with launch scheduled for summer 2028. The project will become the first XPD95 to move from Antonini Navi's expedition-inspired concept into a fully owner-defined yacht.
