With hull and superstructure assembly finalized and over half of the interior furniture already built, the GX Superyachts GX42 RPH is advancing steadily toward its anticipated summer 2026 launch.
Key Build Milestones Achieved
The aluminum hull and superstructure of the GX42 are now fully complete. Inside, 80% of the insulation and piping systems of the superyacht have been installed, and electrical works are 25% complete. Paintwork has reached the halfway mark, while bespoke furniture for the interiors - shaped by Marco Casali’s serene, family-oriented aesthetic - is 50% finished in the workshop.

A crucial milestone has also been met with the successful workshop testing of the hybrid propulsion system of the yacht. Designed to combine diesel-electric drive with solar energy, the system is now ready for delivery and integration.

“It’s inspiring to witness the GX42 taking shape so smoothly,” said Vladimir Zinchenko, founder and CEO of GX Superyachts. “Each milestone reinforces our belief that the GX42 will set a new benchmark in responsible yachting - a vessel that delivers both elegant design and low-impact cruising.”
Inside the GX42: Serene, Family-Focused Interiors
In May, GX Superyachts released the first interior renderings of the motor yacht, revealing a calming, nature-inspired aesthetic shaped by designer Marco Casali. The Raised Pilot House configuration allows for a spacious main-deck owner’s suite and a generous full-beam VIP cabin below.

Natural materials, soft contours, and muted tones emphasize comfort, privacy, and a strong connection with the outdoors - echoing the brand’s Responsible Yachting philosophy.
Next Steps in the Build Process
The next stages will focus on completing insulation and piping, advancing the electrical systems, and continuing the interior fit-out. The hybrid propulsion system will also be installed and integrated ahead of sea trials in early 2026.

Consultant to the Board Andrea Armas commented, “We are pushing the boundary of responsible yachting, navigating through a new era of technological advancement and tailoring the dream of yacht owners into a sustainable reality.”

The GX42 sits at the heart of GX Superyachts’ broader model range, which spans from 24 to 56 meters. It is designed for owners seeking a yacht that reflects modern values, integrating both performance and comfort with greater environmental awareness.
Second GX42 RPH Hull Available Ahead of 2027 Delivery
Prospective buyers looking to join GX Superyachts' vision for responsible cruising may be interested in the second GX42 RPH hull, currently for sale ahead of its planned 2027 delivery. This Raised Pilothouse version shares the same hybrid DNA as the first GX42, with a clean, contemporary profile by Marco Casali and a displacement hull by Francesco Rogantin designed for transatlantic efficiency.

Developed in collaboration with Greenline Yachts, the 42m model features a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, silent cruising at 6 knots, and zero-emission anchoring for up to 48 hours thanks to integrated solar panels and advanced battery storage. With an increased gross tonnage of 353GT, five guest cabins, and interiors crafted from sustainable, high-spec materials, the second hull offers a quiet, efficient alternative for owners seeking long-range capability without compromising comfort or environmental responsibility.
GX42 RPH/02 is on the market with Northrop & Johnson and, according to YachtBuyer Market Watch - the largest yacht database in the world - is currently asking €32,000,000.
