$600K Price Reduction on 68m Icon Yachts Superyacht Loon

The 221 ft (68m) motor yacht Loon has been reduced from $47,500,000 to $46,900,000.

Delivered by Icon Yachts in 2009 and significantly extended in 2014, Loon has become one of the most recognizable yachts on the global charter circuit with a proven program of upgrades that now positions her for sale at $46,900,000.

At 1,295 GT, Loon is a full-displacement steel yacht for sale with an aluminum superstructure spread across six decks. RWD shaped the exterior lines, while Studio Linse created the interiors. Her profile pairs expansive terraces with a secluded owner’s foredeck, and inside, a restrained, minimalist palette provides a serene setting for long-range cruising and charter use.

Exterior Profile

The profile of the motor yacht for sale balances expansive terraces with a private foredeck reserved for the owner. The 2014 hull extension created one of the largest beach clubs in her size category, directly linked to guest accommodations for smooth circulation.

A 24.6 ft by 11.5 ft pool anchors the aft leisure deck, flanked by sunbeds and dining space, while the reconfigured layout frees the stern for guest use.

Performance

Loon is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M71 diesels of 2,480 hp each, delivering a top speed of 16.9 knots and a 6,000-nautical-mile range at 12.5 knots. Stabilization comes from Quantum QC1800 fins, effective both underway and at anchor. Three Scania generators, overhauled in 2024–2025 and fitted with HUG filters, provide electrical power with reduced emissions.

Refit and Maintenance

In April 2025, Loon completed her 15-year Lloyd’s survey and a $3.3 million yard period at Rybovich in West Palm Beach. Works included stabilizer servicing, main engine and gearbox overhauls, shaft and seal replacements, generator rebuilds, paint refinishing, and a bridge refit with new Hatteland displays. The main-deck pool was also converted to freshwater.

For buyers in the 65–70 m range, Loon represents a standout opportunity with a unique layout, proven charter profile, and turnkey condition.

Loon is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking $46,900,000 (€40,198,459).
