Delivered in 2008, Bad Romance V is a 161'1" motor yacht built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Patrick Knowles, while her exteriors have been penned by Geoff Van Aller.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 27'11" beam and a 8'2" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 470 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2004 with the keel laid under the project name 'Mustang Sally; Foxharb'r'. Launched in January 2008 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2008.

Accommodation

Bad Romance V offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512 B) 12-cylinder 2,250hp engines running at 1925rpm, motor yacht Bad Romance V is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 16,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
