Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.15m beam and a 1.85m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 80 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The 24.62m (80ft) Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 80 Alba carries the flowing, sculptural profile that defined the early MCY range. Designed by Nuvolari Lenard, the exterior combines curved surfaces with sharper detailing around the glazing and bulwarks, giving the yacht a sporty look without pushing into aggressive styling.
One of the defining features is the shaped bulwark cutout beside the side decks. This breaks up the profile visually while also bringing extra light into the main deck interior. The large dark glazing sections contrast against the metallic champagne-toned hull and superstructure, while the signature overlapping circular hull windows add another recognisable MCY detail along the lower deck.
The flybridge sits further aft than on many yachts in this size range, which helps preserve the low sweeping profile while freeing up a large upper entertaining space. A black hardtop structure arches over the helm area and ties visually into the wraparound glazing below. Forward, the Portuguese bridge adds a more offshore-capable feel and creates protected access around the foredeck.
At the stern, the cockpit flows down toward a hydraulic swim platform that extends the connection to the water. Wide aft glazing also opens the saloon directly onto the exterior deck spaces, so the yacht keeps a strong indoor-outdoor feel throughout.
Interior Design
The interior of Alba follows the warm contemporary style associated with Monte Carlo Yachts during this period. Dark timber flooring contrasts with soft beige wall panels, satin-finished cabinetry and subtle integrated lighting, creating a calm atmosphere without heavy decorative detailing.
The main saloon uses a long open-plan arrangement with lounge seating aft and dining forward. Large side windows bring natural light deep into the space while also keeping strong sightlines out to the water. Slim cabinetry lines the starboard side and avoids clutter, helping the room feel longer and more open.
