Alchemist is a 62m motor yacht for sale delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2022. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Officina Italiana Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.5m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,291 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the 62Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2022.
Exterior Design
The exterior profile of Alchemist follows the distinctive Sanlorenzo 62Steel look, with long horizontal glazing bands, a high bow and stepped decks that open progressively toward the stern. Large windows run along the guest decks, bringing natural light deep into the interior spaces.
A defining feature of the Alchemist yacht is the private owner’s deck, which sits above the main guest accommodation. The owner’s suite occupies the forward section and connects directly to a large foredeck terrace with open seating areas and a forward swimming pool, giving the owner a private outdoor lounge overlooking the bow.
At sea level, the yacht features a large beach club designed as a waterside lounge. This area extends under the aft overhang and includes seating areas, a bar, gym equipment and a hammam. Folding terraces on both sides and aft open the space directly to the sea, creating an extended platform for swimming and watersports.
The bridge deck aft functions as a social space with outdoor seating, a bar and dining area. Above this, the sun deck offers panoramic views and additional lounge seating.
To preserve the beach club space, Alchemist uses twin side garages positioned amidships. These store the yacht’s 9.75m Frauscher tender and a 6.8m Ribeye RIB, along with jet skis and water toys.
Interior Design
The interior of the Sanlorenzo Alchemist yacht was designed by Officina Italiana Design, with a layout arranged to separate private owner areas from guest spaces while maintaining open communal zones.
Large windows across the main deck saloon and dining room bring in natural light and provide uninterrupted sea views. The saloon connects directly to the aft deck, creating a continuous indoor outdoor living area for entertaining.
According to the yacht’s general arrangement plan, the main deck centres around the saloon and formal dining space, with guest circulation running forward to the accommodation area.
Further up, the owner’s deck includes a private study, lounge and the owner’s suite, positioned forward with direct access to the bow terrace.
The interior layout is organised around a central staircase and elevator, allowing guests and crew to move easily between decks.
Accommodation
The Alchemist superyacht accommodates 12 guests across six cabins.
The owner’s suite occupies the forward section of the owner’s deck, giving the owner a private apartment with direct access to the bow terrace and swimming pool. The suite includes a bedroom, dressing areas, bathroom and a study.
Guest accommodation sits primarily on the main and lower decks. The lower deck includes a VIP suite and several double and twin cabins, each with ensuite bathrooms and large windows close to the waterline.
The yacht also includes a staff or children’s cabin, allowing flexible arrangements for families or additional personnel on board.
Crew accommodation allows for up to 16 crew members, including a captain’s cabin near the wheelhouse and several crew cabins positioned forward of the engine room. Dedicated crew stairs and service areas allow staff to move through the yacht without disturbing guest spaces.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M53) 2,502hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Alchemist is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 120,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots.
Wellness
The beach club on Alchemist forms one of the yacht’s key leisure areas. Positioned at sea level, it includes:

The design incorporates fold-down terraces on both sides and aft, which expand the deck space when the yacht is at anchor and allow direct access to the water.
Above the beach club, the aft swimming pool sits on the main deck, with its glass base allowing natural light to filter down into the lounge below.
