Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement wood hull and superstructure she features a 7m beam and a 1.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 82 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Alessandro is a 24m (78.7ft) custom-built trawler with a notably broad 7m (23ft) beam and an unusually high internal volume for her size. The profile combines traditional long-range trawler proportions with more modern detailing, so the yacht carries a clean, almost explorer-style look rather than a classic heavy displacement form. Her hull uses a cold-moulded construction method with three laminated mahogany layers bonded in epoxy, finished with Jotun paint systems for durability and lower maintenance demands.
The exterior layout prioritises usable deck space. Forward, the foredeck includes a large built-in seating area with table, positioned ahead of the main deck master cabin windows. Tall guardrails and wide walkaround side decks make movement around the yacht feel secure while preserving an open connection to the sea. Large opening side windows throughout the superstructure improve airflow naturally when conditions allow.
A defining feature is the vast flybridge arrangement. Partly enclosed and protected on three sides, the upper deck combines an internal dining area, wet bar and pilot station with a large open aft deck. Stainless support poles allow a removable awning to stretch across the open section for extra shade. The flybridge also includes twin refrigerators, extensive serving surfaces, ice maker, wet bar and seating for up to 10 or 12 guests around the dining table. A secondary aft docking station improves stern manoeuvring visibility.
The swim platform extends 2.8m (9.2ft) aft and measures approximately 17m² (183ft²). A hydraulic passerelle doubles as a water stair system for easier sea access, while the broad beam creates an unusually large waterside area for a yacht in this size range.
Interior Design
Large windows dominate the main salon, bringing in substantial natural light and giving uninterrupted outward views from nearly every seating position. Electrically operated blinds control privacy and sunlight levels while maintaining the clean modern lines of the space.
The salon itself sits flush with the aft deck, which increases the feeling of openness throughout the main deck. Pale finishes and soft tones keep the atmosphere bright and understated, while a large television integrates into the forward bulkhead for entertainment without dominating the room.
Forward on the main deck, the owner’s suite benefits from an uncommon arrangement for a 24m yacht. Large side and forward-facing windows surround the cabin, so views from the bed remain a central part of the design. Manual opening sections provide fresh air directly into the suite, while the overhang above the windows reduces direct sun exposure. The cabin also includes a dressing area, generous storage and a spacious en suite bathroom with oversized shower.
The lower deck layout avoids excessive stair changes, helping circulation feel easy throughout the guest accommodation areas. A dedicated laundry room sits centrally between cabins and includes washer, dryer, sink and extensive storage for linens and supplies. That decision frees the guest corridors from operational equipment often found on yachts in this size range.
The galley occupies a large section of the aft lower deck and uses a more commercial-style arrangement than many leisure yachts. Equipment includes Franke appliances, multiple refrigerators and freezers, large preparation areas and a professional dishwasher with rapid wash cycles. The layout supports extended cruising and higher provisioning loads while remaining straightforward to work in.
Accommodation
Alessandro accommodates up to eight guests across four en suite cabins, alongside accommodation for four crew in two crew cabins.
The owner’s suite occupies the forward section of the main deck, an uncommon feature on a yacht of this size. Large panoramic windows on three sides bring natural light deep into the cabin while giving direct sea views from the bed. Wide walkways around the berth, integrated storage and a dedicated dressing area reinforce the suite’s residential feel. The en suite bathroom uses soft neutral finishes and includes a particularly large shower compartment.
Three further guest cabins sit on the lower deck. The VIP cabin spans the full 7m (23ft) beam and is large enough to function almost as a second master suite. It includes a lounge area, dressing corner, opening windows and a spacious en suite bathroom with oversized shower.
The twin cabin benefits from natural light, generous floor space and a large en suite despite being the smallest guest cabin onboard. Forward, the double guest cabin includes additional seating, extensive storage and a private en suite bathroom. A small integrated refrigerator adds extra flexibility for longer stays onboard.
Crew accommodation sits aft with separate access from the swim platform for operational privacy. The captain’s cabin includes a single berth and private en suite, while the second crew cabin accommodates three crew with additional storage and its own bathroom facilities.
