Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.2m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 88 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Avicci is a Viking Princess 84 from an era when large British-built motor yachts still balanced speed, long-range cruising comfort and traditional styling. Her profile is defined by a fine entry bow, sweeping sheer line and a long, low superstructure that keeps the yacht looking sleek despite her substantial internal volume. The dark blue hull, added during a custom repaint in 2015, gives the yacht a distinctive appearance and contrasts sharply with the white superstructure.
Wide side decks run the length of the yacht, protected by substantial stainless steel railings and leading to a large foredeck sunbathing area. Forward, the bow combines a built-in seat with a dedicated sunpad, creating a private outdoor space away from the main social areas. The raised pilothouse design allows the main deck to remain open and uninterrupted while also creating additional accommodation space below.
A custom extended flybridge is one of Avicci's most notable exterior features. Covered by a full Bimini top, this deck provides a large amount of outdoor living space with seating, dining, a barbecue, refrigerator, sink and tender handling equipment. The flybridge crane supports launch and recovery of the 4.1m (13.5ft) Nautica RIB tender, while the elevated position offers clear views when cruising or at anchor.
The aft deck continues the yacht's focus on outdoor entertaining. Teak decking, built-in seating, a dining table, wet bar, refrigerator and icemaker create a practical space for meals and socialising. Twin staircases lead up to the flybridge, while transom gates provide access to the swim platform and water. Hydraulic warping winches and docking controls also make stern-to mooring easier when operating in busy marinas.
Interior Design
The interior reflects the craftsmanship typical of early-2000s Princess yachts, with high-gloss cherry wood joinery, detailed cabinetry and a warm, traditional atmosphere throughout. Following a major refit in 2015 and further upgrades including new carpeting in 2022, the yacht combines classic styling with updated systems and entertainment equipment.
The main salon is arranged around generous seating areas, with an L-shaped sofa, additional lounge seating and a coffee table creating a comfortable social space. Large side windows bring natural light into the room, while an electrically rising television remains hidden when not in use. A custom audio system and integrated entertainment package support onboard gatherings, while the electric aft door and opening window connect the salon directly to the aft deck.
Forward of the salon sits a dedicated formal dining area with seating for eight guests. Custom cabinetry provides storage for tableware and glassware, while indirect lighting and timber detailing give the space a traditional yacht character. An electric partition allows the galley to be separated when required.
The galley occupies a practical position adjacent to the dining room and includes extensive Corian work surfaces, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, full cooking appliances and substantial storage. Its layout suits extended cruising, charter use or operation with a professional crew.
Above, the raised pilothouse combines operational functionality with an additional social area. Alongside the twin helm seats and navigation station, a U-shaped dinette allows guests to spend time with the captain while underway. Large windows provide excellent visibility in all directions.
Accommodation
Avicci accommodates up to 10 guests across four staterooms, while separate crew quarters sleep four crew in two cabins. This arrangement allows the yacht to operate comfortably as either a private family yacht or a fully crewed charter vessel.
The full-beam owner's suite is the standout guest cabin. Positioned amidships for comfort underway, it features a king-size berth, walk-in wardrobe, seating area, desk and extensive storage. The en suite bathroom is finished with marble surfaces and includes dual sinks, a bidet and a Jacuzzi bathtub.
Forward, the VIP stateroom offers a queen island berth, lounge seating, vanity area and its own en suite bathroom with marble finishes. Large hull windows and generous floor space help it feel closer to a second master cabin than a typical VIP suite.
Two guest cabins occupy the port and starboard sides of the lower deck. Each features twin beds with additional Pullman berths, allowing flexible sleeping arrangements for children, friends or extended family groups. Both cabins have private en suite bathrooms and entertainment systems.
Crew accommodation sits aft and includes two cabins, a crew mess, galley facilities and independent access routes.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000M91) 2,128hp engines, motor yacht Avicci is capable of reaching a top speed of 32 knots, and comfortably cruises at 26 knots. With her 8,327 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
