Delivered in 2015, Happy Blue II is a 29.2m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Ferretti Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon International Project, while Ferretti Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Floodable tender bay transom
  • Large flybridge sunpad zone
  • Main deck owner suite
  • Open-plan indoor-outdoor layout

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.7m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 123 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Happy Blue II features a thoughtfully styled exterior with a sleek, modern profile and clever detailing that speaks to both performance and leisure. A standout feature is the award-winning transom design, which lifts to create a floodable compartment, allowing the 4.5-metre (14.8ft) tender to launch without the need for a fixed crane. Once the tender is deployed, the transom closes down to form a spacious, sea-level lounging platform - a versatile area for sunbathing or gearing up for a swim.

The aft section of the main deck is tailored for sociable al fresco dining. A freestanding table enables full-service access from all sides, paired with a cushioned seating area at the stern that provides a comfortable place to relax before or after a meal. Above, the flybridge offers another inviting space to unwind. Here, guests will find additional open-air dining options, a generous sunpad, and loungers - ideal for casual gatherings or enjoying the view with a drink in hand.

From bow to stern, the exterior layout encourages outdoor living, with smooth transitions between social spaces. The hull carries the distinctive look of the Ferretti 960, combining sharp lines with a sense of balanced proportion, underscoring the yacht’s purposeful yet elegant presence on the water.

There’s a natural rhythm to how Happy Blue II moves between indoor and outdoor living.

Interior Design

Inside, Happy Blue II features a contemporary interior curated by Zuccon International Studio. The look is polished and inviting, with wooden panelled walls, warm brass detailing, and a large U-shaped cream sofa anchoring the main saloon. Expansive windows line the main deck, flooding the interior with natural light and giving it an open, easygoing atmosphere that flows freely from indoor spaces to the aft deck.

The saloon is configured to support both lounging and formal dining, with a spacious sofa offering panoramic views and a large dining table set forward. The galley is arranged to be practical for daily use, with modern appliances and efficient storage - ideal whether meals are casual family-style or served more formally by crew.

Materials throughout include a pairing of washed oak and walnut cabinetry that strikes a balance between traditional and modern styling. Subtle details enhance the yacht’s refined feel, while keeping the overall aesthetic calm and understated. Forward on the main deck, the helm station integrates neatly into the layout, keeping the focus on a seamless guest experience.

Stability was also a key design consideration. In addition to traditional fin stabilisers for cruising, Happy Blue II is equipped with SeaKeeper gyroscopic stabilisers, which significantly reduce roll when at anchor. These units operate via high-speed flywheels that generate counteracting torque, keeping the motion smooth and comfortable even in less sheltered anchorages.

Accommodation

Happy Blue II accommodates up to ten guests across five cabins. The owner’s suite is situated on the main deck, maximising space and privacy. The layout places the bedhead as far forward as possible, allowing for a spacious sleeping area. To accommodate a generously sized en-suite, two subtle steps lead down into the bathroom space, preserving headroom even where the superstructure begins to slope.

Below deck, four additional staterooms provide guest accommodation. Each features its own en-suite bathroom and is finished to a high standard. The layout ensures that all guests enjoy a sense of comfort and privacy, with no discernible difference in quality between cabins. Two of the guest rooms are designed for flexibility, featuring double beds that can be converted into twin bunks, making them ideal for families or adaptable guest arrangements.

She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96 L) 1,850hp engines, motor yacht Happy Blue II is capable of reaching a top speed of 29 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Sunlight floods the saloon of Happy Blue II, highlighting its calm and refined finish.
