Key Features

  • Metallic green hull finish
  • Large flybridge for size
  • 28.6m (94ft) Peri 29 yacht
  • 22-knot top speed

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.44m beam and a 1.15m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 95 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the Peri 29 design.

Exterior Design

Manatea is a 28.6m (94ft) Peri 29 motor yacht built in 2008 by Peri Yachts, with exterior and interior design by Scaro Design and naval architecture by Dixon Yacht Design. Her profile is low, fast and clean, with a strong sense of forward motion carried through the sweeping superstructure lines and long, stretched glazing.

The first detail that stands out is the metallic green hull, which gives the yacht a very different presence on the water. It shifts in tone with light and sea conditions, so the finish feels lively while still sitting within a restrained palette when paired with the white superstructure.

The hull carries a series of long, horizontal portholes, which emphasise length and keep the side profile uncluttered. Above, the main deck glazing runs in a continuous dark band, tying the design together and bringing a strong visual line from bow to stern.

The aft cockpit is shaded and set up for dining, with twin staircases leading down to a full-width swim platform. Forward, the bow is kept clear and open, with a large sunpad area. The flybridge is notably generous for a yacht of this size, with space for sunbathing, seating and a wet bar, often covered by a retractable bimini.

Built in GRP with epoxy composites, the structure is light and stiff, which supports the yacht’s performance focus as well as long-term durability.

Interior Design

Manatea’s interior follows the same design language as the exterior, with clean lines and a modern layout shaped around light and openness. Large side windows bring in strong natural light, which helps the main saloon feel wider than the yacht’s 95GT volume might suggest.

The saloon is arranged as a combined lounge and dining space, with a clear flow between the two areas so the space works for both relaxed use and entertaining. Materials and finishes lean toward a contemporary style, with smooth surfaces and built-in furniture that keeps the layout tidy and easy to move through.

Accommodation

Superyacht Manatea accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 cabins, including an owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins. The layout suits private cruising, with a clear separation between guest areas and crew zones.

The owner’s cabin and VIP are set up as double cabins, while the twin cabins offer flexibility for guests or family use. Each cabin is arranged with en suite facilities, storage and natural light through hull windows.

Crew accommodation supports up to 4 crew, with a typical working setup for a yacht of this size.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V2000 M93) 1,502hp engines, motor yacht Manatea is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 17 knots. With her 7,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 17 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
