Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement carbon/epoxy hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 21'7" beam and a 5'8" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 84 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Dominator 28M Ilumen design. Launched in June 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2017.
Accommodation
Maximus offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V8-1200) 8-cylinder 1,200hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Maximus is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 3,117 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Maximus also features an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
