Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 119 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Nine Moons carries the classic proportions often seen on earlier Benetti displacement yachts. The hull has a long raked bow and high freeboard, while a gentle sheer line runs cleanly from the foredeck aft, giving the profile a balanced, purposeful look underway.
Along the hull sides, a line of evenly spaced circular portholes marks the lower-deck cabins. Above them, larger rectangular windows sit within the main deck superstructure, bringing natural light into the interior spaces. The combination of portholes below and horizontal glazing above reflects a layout typical of traditional steel motor yachts built for long-distance cruising.
Wide walkaround side decks run the length of the yacht and are protected by high bulwarks, allowing safe movement between the aft deck and the foredeck. At the stern, the yacht features a canoe stern, a rounded and tapering aft hull form rather than a flat transom. This shape was commonly used on classic displacement yachts because it sheds following seas more cleanly and reduces turbulence behind the hull. The deck curves around this rounded stern, with the yacht’s name mounted across the gently arched transom.
The superstructure rises across multiple levels, culminating in a covered flybridge with a lightweight canopy that shelters the upper helm and seating area. Below it, the upper deck provides an additional outdoor space overlooking the aft deck and water beyond.
Interior Design
The interior of Nine Moons is defined by extensive warm-toned wood paneling and cabinetry.
The main salon is arranged as a comfortable lounge with sofas and armchairs surrounding a central coffee table. Large side windows run along the length of the room, bringing daylight into the interior while maintaining views outside.
Integrated cabinetry and shelving line the bulkheads, providing storage and display space while maintaining a consistent wood finish throughout the room.
Forward of the lounge sits the formal dining area, arranged around a rectangular dining table with seating for guests. The dining space sits within the same open room but is visually separated by cabinetry and changes in furniture layout.
Accommodation
Nine Moons offers accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (8V71N) 230hp engines, motor yacht Nine Moons is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 23,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,600 nautical miles at 10 knots.
