Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 8.2m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 259 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2013. She was delivered to her owners in October 2015.
Exterior Design
The 34m (111.5ft) Aegean yacht Olde Salt blends a traditional motor yacht profile with modern construction, built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. From the images, the influence of classic gentleman’s yachts is clear, with a rounded stern, upright bow, twin masts, and a prominent central funnel, while the white hull and warm timber detailing reinforce that heritage look.
Long rows of circular portholes run along the hull, and these sit beneath a clean sheerline that keeps the profile balanced. Decorative scrollwork at the bow adds a period touch, while the varnished wood wheelhouse and upper deck structures introduce contrast against the white superstructure. The bridge deck carries a strong overhang, which provides shade to the deck below and creates depth through the profile.
Deck spaces are arranged for outdoor use, with large open areas on both the main and upper decks. Each level supports alfresco dining with space for up to 14 guests, while the upper deck also includes sunbeds set out in the open. Wide side decks run the length of the yacht, so movement between bow and stern remains simple and practical.
Interior Design
Inside, Olde Salt uses a light, polished material palette, with ivory-toned high-gloss wood panels and oak flooring forming the base of the interior. Large windows run along the main deck, and these bring in steady natural light, which softens the darker wood tones and keeps the spaces open.
Italian soft furnishings add texture across seating and cabin areas, while the layout separates dining and lounge zones to support both formal and relaxed use. The main saloon connects directly to the aft deck, so indoor and outdoor areas can be used together without interruption.
Accommodation
Olde Salt accommodates up to 10 guests across five ensuite cabins, including a main deck master suite, two VIP cabins, and two twin cabins on the lower deck. The arrangement provides a clear hierarchy, with the owner’s suite positioned for privacy and easy access, while guest cabins remain grouped below.
Each cabin includes its own bathroom, and the layout supports both private cruising and charter use, with MCA compliance already in place. Crew accommodation is arranged across three cabins for up to eight crew members, allowing full service onboard without affecting guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Olde Salt is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots.
