Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.48m beam and a 1.89m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 103 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Outrageous' exterior combines modern lines with a wide beam and a convex hull form that marks a departure from the Hatteras’ earlier, narrower designs. Finished in a fresh coat of professional-grade paint, the yacht presents a clean, timeless profile. A shallow draft of just 1.63 meters (5ft 4in) makes her well-suited for cruising areas with limited depth, such as the Bahamas or Florida’s inland waterways.
Outdoor living is a central theme across all levels. The aft deck features molded lounge seating and a dining table, ideal for relaxed meals in the open air. From here, twin staircases with stainless steel gates lead down to the sport deck and swim platform, which is finished in new teak for a polished look and comfortable footing.
Up top, the expansive flybridge creates distinct zones for socialising and relaxation. A wet bar on the port side comes fitted with a sink, icemaker, refrigerator, and three bar stools, with two opposing L-shaped settees just aft. For sun-seekers, the aft section includes a broad sunpad, and a hot tub can be fitted as an option. A double-burner Gaggenau grill caters to informal cookouts. Molded-in steps provide easy movement between flybridge and aft deck, and a full davit supports tender handling.
Interior Design
The salon is wide and welcoming, enhanced by the yacht’s generous 6.48-meter (21ft 3in) beam. Entry is through curved, polished stainless steel sliding doors that open into a spacious main living area. A wet bar sits conveniently just inside, near a full entertainment system with a plasma TV. The salon is appointed with a custom sectional sofa (complete with built-in storage), club chairs, a china cabinet, and a formal dining table with seating.
Throughout the interior, rich African mahogany surfaces are used in a high-gloss finish, complemented by triple bullnose moldings, decorative soffits, custom valances, and large frameless windows. These architectural touches are accompanied by Lutron lighting controls and elegant headliner treatments.
The galley, finished with granite worktops and backsplashes, balances utility with clean design. It’s equipped with a Sub-Zero full-height refrigerator, microwave, oven, four-burner ceramic cooktop, trash compactor, and dishwasher. Amtico strip flooring provides the warm appearance of teak while handling wear with ease. The lower helm station features Stidd chairs reupholstered in diamond-stitched material.
Accommodation
Outrageous provides sleeping quarters for up to eight guests across four en suite staterooms, with additional space for 3threecrew.
The standout feature is the full-beam master cabin, located amidships on the lower deck. Spanning the full width of the yacht, this suite benefits from six oversized portlights that flood the space with natural light and offer immersive water-level views. Decorative valances with fixed Roman shades and layered duettes balance privacy with elegance. The room is accessed via a custom-designed sketch-face door and features extensive wood detailing consistent with the rest of the interior.
The remaining three guest cabins are also en suite and finished to a high standard, mirroring the master’s blend of comfort and craftsmanship. All cabins are arranged for maximum privacy and space, making them well-suited for extended cruising with family or guests.
Crew accommodations are located separately and provide comfortable quarters for staff, ensuring smooth operation and privacy for those on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-30) 1,550hp engines, motor yacht Outrageous is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 10,819 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 22 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
