Delivered in 2001, Perseus is a 49.8m sail yacht built by Italian shipyard Perini Navi. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Perini Navi, while Ron Holland Design is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.27m beam and a 8.39m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 422 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 1999. She was delivered to her owners in October 2001.
Exterior Design
Perseus is a 49.8m (163.4ft) Perini Navi ketch with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and the deck layout reflects that sailing focus. The twin-mast rig dominates, with a 49m (160.8ft) main mast and a 35.05m (115ft) mizzen, carrying a total sail area of 1,102m² (11,862ft²). Sail handling uses captive reel winches and electric furling systems, so lines and hardware stay controlled and largely contained.
The foredeck is kept clear for operations and tender storage, while the main cockpit sits aft of the deckhouse in a recessed position, giving protection under the overhang. This area includes fixed seating and a dining table, so it works as the primary outdoor living space under way or at anchor. The flybridge adds 48m² (517ft²) of usable space, and the cockpit itself covers 50m² (538ft²), which gives clear separation between sailing and guest areas.
The stern has a rounded underbody, which improves stability in following seas, and the yacht uses four zero-speed stabilisers to reduce roll at anchor. Deck equipment, including winches and handling systems, is integrated into the structure rather than left exposed.
Interior Design
The interior, designed by Christian Liaigre, uses a restrained palette with cherry wood joinery, white carpets and dark accents through furniture and artwork. The layout keeps the main deck as a single, continuous living space, with a saloon that includes two opposing sofas and central tables.
Forward of the saloon, the dining area seats up to 10 guests, while an office space sits to port. The total area for the saloon, dining and wheelhouse is 121m² (1,302ft²), so the main deck carries most of the shared interior volume.
The finish is consistent throughout, with clean lines, built-in cabinetry and minimal visual clutter, and the refits in 2012 and 2021 updated both materials and onboard systems, including new sails and technical upgrades.
Accommodation
Perseus accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, with a total guest and owner area of 113m² (1,216ft²). The full-beam master suite can be arranged as a single large cabin or divided into two separate suites, which gives flexibility depending on use.
The remaining guest cabins are all en suite and positioned to keep them away from main traffic areas, while crew accommodation totals 115m² (1,238ft²) and supports up to 9 crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Deutz (TBD 616 V12) 12-cylinder 979hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Perseus is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 45,700 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
