Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.96m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 488 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2023. Launched in June 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Designed by Red Yacht Design, the steel-hulled, 488GT yacht combines a tall navy-blue hull with long dark glazing and sharply drawn deck lines that give the yacht a strong sense of length. The superstructure steps aft in layers, creating deep terraces and outdoor spaces across multiple levels rather than concentrating activity on a single deck.
The design places unusual emphasis on the stern. Instead of treating the beach club as a secondary space tucked beneath the aft deck, Queen Yaz makes the waterfront the focal point of the yacht. Fold-down terraces widen the beach club at sea level, while built-in seating, loose furniture and direct water access create a broad outdoor lounge. The renderings show a space that functions as a genuine extension of the yacht rather than simply a boarding platform.
Above the beach club, the aft cockpit forms a second social layer with a full dining area and lounge seating overlooking the water. This stepped arrangement creates clear separation between dining, lounging and swimming areas while keeping them visually connected.
The main deck bow is given over to a dedicated lounge area, providing a quieter alternative to the busy aft sections. Higher still, the sundeck becomes the yacht's primary entertainment deck, combining a jacuzzi, sunbeds, lounge seating, bar and dining area beneath a striking mast structure and hardtop. The arrangement leaves enough open deck space for sunbathing while still providing shade and shelter around the social areas.
Interior Design
Red Yacht Design has carried the yacht's contemporary styling indoors, creating an interior intended to feel more like a private retreat. Light colours dominate throughout, with natural materials used to soften the scale of the large interior volumes.
The design brief centred on family life aboard, and the interior appears to follow that direction. Rather than relying on strong contrasts or dramatic statement pieces, the focus is on creating calm, welcoming spaces that work equally well for day-to-day living and longer periods aboard.
Large windows play an important role in this approach. The extensive glazing visible throughout the profile suggests that natural light will be a defining feature of the interior, helping connect the living spaces with the sea views outside and preventing the substantial interior volume from feeling enclosed.

Queen Yaz offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin.
