Developed under the project name FAST 50 and previously known as ALY501, Atlantide was built at Alia's Antalya shipyard with an Alustar aluminum hull and full carbon superstructure. The yacht uses triple waterjet propulsion to reach a reported top speed of 35 knots.
Triple Waterjets Power Atlantide to 35 Knots
Performance sits at the center of Atlantide's engineering brief. The yacht's Alustar aluminum hull reduces weight, while the carbon superstructure takes the same approach above deck. Naval architecture comes from Dutch studio Mulder Design, with three waterjets providing propulsion. Alia now quotes a top speed of 35 knots, putting Atlantide firmly at the performance-led end of the 50m custom yacht sector.
The technical package is particularly notable given Atlantide's gross tonnage of 498 GT. Rather than following the taller, multi-tiered profile often seen around this size, the yacht stays unusually low over the water, creating a long horizontal silhouette.

Vitruvius Yacht Design developed the exterior, including the broad, squared-off bow that has previously drawn comparisons with an aircraft carrier. The same design language continues aft through an extended deck line and extensive glazing. When Atlantide was launched in 2025, the project stood out for placing almost 500 GT inside such a low-profile form.
A Low Silhouette Conceals Almost 500 GT
Atlantide's 11m beam gives the design considerable width to work with, particularly across the motor yacht's outdoor areas. Alia points to a large uninterrupted deck, extensive glazing and broad aft terraces as central elements of the yacht. The low superstructure leaves much of the visual emphasis on these open deck areas, while the aft sections step toward the water to strengthen the connection between guests and the sea.
The foredeck is another defining area. Previous details released around the yacht's launch revealed retractable canopies that can rise from the deck before folding away when not required, allowing the exterior profile to remain clear when underway.
Interior design is by French studio Liaigre. Few details of the accommodation arrangement have been released, although the interior was developed around the owner's priorities for balance, wellbeing and time spent close to the water. The Design Teams Behind the 50m Atlantide
Atlantide draws on three specialist design studios. Vitruvius Yacht Design was responsible for the exterior, Mulder Design developed the naval architecture and Liaigre handled the interior.
For Alia, the project placed a significant emphasis on construction and technical execution, particularly given the lightweight materials, high-speed propulsion and unconventional exterior proportions involved.
The yacht also marks the completed form of a project YachtBuyer covered at its launch in November 2025, when it was still due to enter final commissioning and sea trials. At that stage, Alia had disclosed the carbon construction, triple-waterjet propulsion and 498 GT volume, while much of the finished yacht remained under wraps.
What's Next for Alia yachts?
Further projects remain in construction. At the top of the program is the Alia 65M superyacht, scheduled for 2028. The 1,432 GT yacht is designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and is set to become the largest yacht built by Alia when completed.
