  • Full-beam owner’s suite
  • Naiad stabiliser system

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and a wood / epoxy superstructure she features a 7.76m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 190 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Sunrise is a 33.01m (108.3ft) custom motor yacht built by SES Yachts with exterior styling and interior design by Hasan Ulutas. The yacht combines classic motor yacht proportions with softer contemporary detailing, and the profile carries a noticeably lower, more elegant feel than many production yachts from the same period.

The long raised foredeck flows into a stepped superstructure with wide overhangs and dark-tinted glazing running almost continuously along the main and upper decks. Large oval side windows soften the profile and bring more natural light into the guest areas below, while the sharp contrast between the white superstructure and darker hull paint gives Sunrise a clean, understated look underway.

From above, the yacht’s wide 7.77m (25.6ft) beam becomes more apparent. The upper deck has been arranged around open-air living, with a raised observation area aft of the upper helm large enough for multiple sunloungers, while the flybridge includes a bar area with seating for nine guests beneath the radar arch and hardtop shading. The foredeck remains unusually open for a yacht in this size range, with broad teak walkways and uncluttered deck space around the anchoring area.

At the stern, wide teak steps descend toward the swim platform, while the aft deck combines built-in seating with an al fresco dining space for eight. The arrangement keeps circulation simple between the salon, aft deck, and water access areas.

Sunrise was built with an epoxy-laminated cold-moulded mahogany hull rather than GRP, which gives the yacht a lighter structure along with improved thermal and acoustic insulation.

Interior Design

Sunrise uses warm timber finishes, curved joinery, and broad open spaces to create a softer, more traditional atmosphere than many modern production yachts. Hasan Ulutas designed the interior with an emphasis on comfort and usable living areas rather than heavily formal layouts.

The main salon follows an open-plan arrangement with two large lounge settees positioned around a central table aft, while the formal dining space sits forward beneath a circular recessed ceiling feature that helps define the area without physically separating it. Large side windows and sliding aft doors pull natural light through the room, and the wide beam gives the salon noticeably more floor space than many GRP yachts around 33m (108ft).

Rounded wood detailing runs consistently throughout the interior, from the cabinetry and wall panels to the ceiling treatments and dining furniture. The finish leans toward classic yacht styling, though the lighter fabrics, cream carpeting, and broad glazing prevent the spaces from feeling heavy.

Accommodation

Sunrise accommodates up to 10 guests across five en suite cabins, while separate crew accommodation supports up to five crew members in a dedicated aft crew area with private heads, pantry, and galley facilities.

The full-beam owner’s suite makes full use of the yacht’s generous beam and includes large hull windows, extensive storage, and a private en suite bathroom. Two VIP cabins and two twin guest cabins complete the accommodation layout, giving the yacht a balanced arrangement suited to extended family cruising or guest use.

The guest cabins continue the same warm timber styling carried throughout the yacht, with curved cabinetry, integrated lighting, and large windows helping soften the lower deck spaces. Built-in entertainment systems are fitted throughout the accommodation areas, while the beam and cold-moulded construction help reduce noise transfer between cabins during longer passages.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V M70) 1,055hp engines, motor yacht Sunrise is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 16,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 9 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
