Measuring 13m and the entry-level model in Aquila’s Coupé range, this power catamaran is built in-house with a resin-infused vinylester composite hull and Hydro Glide Foil System, delivering performance, stability, and spacious single-level living.
Single-Level Living with Panoramic Views
The Aquila catamaran follows a single-level layout that connects the salon, galley, and cockpit into one continuous space. Large tempered glass windows create 360-degree views, while an optional electric sunroof adds to the open-air atmosphere.
The salon on board the catamaran features an L-shaped seating area with a convertible table, a drop-down TV option, and a galley equipped with a microwave, fridge-freezer, Corian countertops, and storage throughout.
Sporty Lines and Practical Deck Spaces
Sporty yet practical, the Aquila 42 Coupé's double-stepped hull design delivers enhanced offshore handling. The foredeck of the yacht includes a central carbon fiber walkthrough hatch leading to bow seating for four, with integrated cupholders, concealed storage, and LED courtesy lighting. At the aft, a convertible sun lounger offers forward-facing or reclined seating, while the cockpit provides boarding gates to port and starboard, optional retractable sunshade, and space for an electric BBQ or fridge.
The boat’s Hydro Glide Foil System, crafted in carbon fiber, improves fuel efficiency and ride comfort, while ergonomic handrails and a self-draining deck enhance safety and functionality.
Comfortable Two-Cabin Layout
Configured for up to four guests, the Aquila 42 Coupé motor yacht is well-suited to short cruises and extended weekends. The two large cabins are designed with ample natural light, thanks to hull-side windows, and feature memory foam mattresses, climate control options, and extensive storage.
Each en-suite is fitted with a freshwater flushing toilet, vanity, and separate shower.
The standard propulsion setup includes twin 400hp Mercury Verado V10 outboards with joystick piloting, while optional Volvo Penta D6-440hp DPI sterndrive diesel engines are available. The Hydro Glide Foil System reduces drag for improved range, with the yacht capable of approximately 300 nautical miles.
More Aquila Powercats Ready for European Debut
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch & Intelligence, two larger Aquila power catamarans will also make their European debuts. The award-winning Aquila 46 Coupé extends the single-level living concept of the 42 into a 14.44-meter platform, adding more deck space, an expansive bow lounge, and a versatile enclosed-or-open cockpit design. With twin en-suite cabins and the Hydro Glide Foil System, it offers a smoother ride and greater range, making it well-suited for longer coastal trips.
The YachtBuyer review model Aquila 50 Yacht moves into a different league, measuring 15.9 meters and introducing a flybridge with al fresco entertainment areas. Designed to accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins, it has a more commanding presence, a high freeboard “Explorer” profile, and a maximum range of 400 nautical miles. Together, these models demonstrate Aquila’s breadth, from agile weekender to fully capable cruising yacht, each tailored to different styles of on-water living.
This year's Cannes Yachting Festival is set to exhibit Aquila’s expanding lineup, highlighting the brand’s range of performance-driven power catamarans designed for everything from weekend escapes to extended cruising.
