The 14.4m (47ft) Princess C48 OB is the first outboard-powered model from Princess Yachts, created with naval architect Michael Peters, Bernard Olesinski, and the Princess in-house design team.
At its core is Peters’ patented Stepped Vee Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) hull, which combines a deep-vee bow to cut through chop, twin steps that add lift and reduce drag, and a ventilated tunnel with vertical sidewalls for exceptional grip in turns. The result is higher speeds, lower fuel burn, and greater stability than a traditional stepped hull.
Performance options include triple Mercury V10 400hp outboards for 44-46 knots or triple Mercury V12 600hp outboards reaching 52-54 knots and Volvo Penta inboards. That range of power makes the C48 the fastest Princess model ever built. Two outboard versions are offered: the Princess C48 Open OB, with an airy main deck, wet bars, and versatile seating, and this version the Deck Saloon, which adds enclosed comfort with sliding doors and side access. Both carry flexible lower-deck layouts with cabins or convertible saloon options. Buyers exploring Princess C48 OB for sale will find a yacht that brings Princess style into the high-performance centre-console sector for the first time.
