The The ShowBoats Design Awards 2016, held in February at the prestigious Superyacht Design Symposium, brought together industry leaders, yacht builders, and enthusiasts to celebrate outstanding achievements in the world of yachting. The Naval Architecture Award – Displacement Motor Yacht category highlighted a remarkable array of yachts, each pushing the boundaries of design and performance. An extraordinary selection, the Amels 199, Madame Kate, and Ruya, secured the victory, with several other notable finalists, including entries from CRN Yachts, Sunrise Yachts, Feadship, Lurssen, SilverYachts, Tankoa Yachts, Rossinavi, Columbus Yachts, and Mulder. The event was open to everyone, providing an inclusive and celebratory atmosphere to honour the year’s most acclaimed yachts.
