The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show returns in 2025 with a reimagined format and a premium waterfront setting at Darling Harbour.

This year’s event will feature more than 200 yachts and boats for sale, presenting the latest models from leading shipyards alongside Australia’s strongest marine brands.

Held in the heart of Sydney, the On-Water Boat Show is set to bring a festival-style atmosphere, giving yacht buyers, brokers, and enthusiasts four days of marine lifestyle, technology, and design. 

Yachts on Show at Sydney 2025

The 2025 Sydney International On-Water Boat Show will showcase over 200 vessels across the floating marina at Cockle Bay. The lineup will include motor yachts, sailboats, catamarans, tenders, and the latest in marine innovation from Australian and international builders.

Visitors can expect a mix of brokerage and new-build models, with dedicated zones for luxury yachts, family cruisers, and performance craft. The show’s marina layout provides a true on-water experience, with direct vessel access and harbor views framing the city skyline. Exhibitors are expected to feature models from Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, and Maritimo, among others.

Yacht highlights include the Hargrave 28m Sassy, presented by Fraser Yachts, and the Azimut 17m Fly 53. 

Opening Times

The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show runs from Thursday 13 November to Sunday 16 November 2025.

  • Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Tickets and Access

General admission tickets are priced at $36 plus booking fee and include entry to the Discover Boat Show Festival Hub. Visitors who wish to access only the Festival Hub can purchase a dedicated ticket for $15 plus booking fee. The Wine Selectors Masterclasses are available as an optional add-on for $15 plus booking fee per 30-minute session, featuring four curated wine tastings.

The main entrance is located along Darling Harbour’s foreshore, with signage leading directly to the marina. Accessibility features include wheelchair-friendly docks, parent facilities, and public restrooms throughout the site.

Getting Around

The show’s central location in Darling Harbour makes it one of the most convenient events on the yachting calendar. Visitors can reach the venue easily by train, light rail, ferry, or car. Trains to Town Hall or Wynyard Stations place guests within a ten-minute walk of Cockle Bay. The light rail network stops at Pyrmont Bay and Convention, both offering direct access to the harbor.

Ferries run regular services to Darling Harbour Wharf, while taxis and private cars can use paid parking at Harbourside Car Park or the ICC Sydney complex. Once inside the show, guests can explore the exhibition via floating docks with clearly marked pathways connecting yacht berths, pavilions, and hospitality areas.

Highlights and Hospitality

The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show has evolved into a full marine lifestyle festival, with waterfront dining, live entertainment, and exclusive yacht showcases.

The outdoor Discover Boating Festival Hub in Tumbalong Park will bring together a curated collection of marine brands, accessories, and lifestyle experiences. Visitors can explore premium equipment displays, brand activations, live entertainment, and an array of food and wine experiences, including guided masterclasses. The Hub creates a lively atmosphere that celebrates boating culture both on the water and ashore.

A key feature for 2025 is the Wine Selectors Masterclasses at the Wine Selectors Tasting Deck. Led by wine expert and storyteller Will Figueira, these 30-minute guided sessions invite guests to explore some of Australia’s finest wines in a relaxed, waterfront setting. Each class includes four tastings for $15 per person, with limited seats available for up to 30 participants per session.
