More Details

The 24.61m motor yacht 3BBoys was delivered to her owners in 2018 by British shipyard Princess. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Bernard Olesinski, while Princess is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Princess Y75 Mk2 flybridge yacht
  • One-level saloon and cockpit
  • Walkthrough foredeck lounge layout
  • Deep-V planing hull performance

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 5.77m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 68 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The Princess Y75 motor yacht 3BBoys runs with a low, flowing profile that keeps visual weight down despite the volume inside. Long hull windows stretch across the topsides, broken by larger rectangular openings that bring more light into the lower deck cabins. A full-height window sits on the port side of the main deck, aligned with the dining area, and stands out as a key part of the design.

The flybridge forms the main outdoor space. It sits under a hardtop with a retractable centre section, so it can open fully in good weather or close for shade. The layout includes a wet bar, BBQ, dining table and sunbed areas, with clear views over the bow. From the image, the space looks clean and open, with loose seating forward and a broad sunpad section aft.

On the main deck aft, sliding glass doors sit flush with the saloon sole, so the cockpit and interior read as one level. The cockpit itself is set up for dining and relaxed seating, with direct steps down to the swim platform. That platform spans the beam and sits low to the water, which helps with tender use and swimming access.

Forward, the bow uses a walkthrough layout. Side decks lead up to a U-shaped seating area with a table and separate sunpads ahead. The guardrails are high enough for safe movement, and the space feels defined without being enclosed.

The hull is a modified deep-V planing form, built to carry speed while staying stable. The shape allows the yacht to plane earlier than heavier designs, supporting higher top speeds while keeping fuel use in check at cruising pace.

Interior Design

Inside, the design focuses on light and open sightlines. The long window runs and the large port-side glazing bring daylight deep into the main deck, especially around the dining area. Furniture sits low, which keeps views clear across the space.

The saloon and cockpit connect on one level, so the interior does not feel cut off from the deck. Materials follow a modern scheme, with lighter finishes set against darker trims to define edges and surfaces.

The dining area sits forward of the saloon, close to the full-height window. This position gives it direct light and a clearer outlook than a more central layout. The galley is placed to support both interior dining and deck service without crossing guest areas.

Up top, the flybridge acts as a second social zone, so the interior does not carry the full load during the day. That split helps keep the main deck quieter when needed.

Accommodation

3BBoys accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins.

The owner’s cabin uses a full-beam layout on the lower deck, giving it more floor space and wider window sections. A VIP cabin sits forward, while a double and a convertible twin complete the guest layout. The twin can switch to a double, which adds flexibility for different groups.

Crew accommodation is arranged for up to three, positioned to allow service access without crossing into guest areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin MAN (V12 1800) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht 3BBoys is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
