View Listing

Delivered in 2004, Abely is a 32m motor yacht for sale built by Ocea. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Joubert Nivelt Design.

Key Features

  • 32.7m (107.3ft) Ocea Commuter 108 motor yacht
  • Sheltered aft deck dining area
  • Range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots
  • Flybridge with lounge & dining space under Bimini

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.41m beam and a 2.77m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 149 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Ocea Commuter 108 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Abely is based on Ocea’s 32.7m (107.3ft) Commuter 108 platform, with naval architecture by Joubert-Nivelt and a profile that leans heavily into traditional expedition and commuter yacht styling rather than contemporary superyacht fashion. Built entirely in aluminium, the yacht has a purposeful, workboat-inspired character softened by clean detailing and balanced proportions.

The dark hull contrasts strongly against the white superstructure, giving the yacht a classic long-range look. The near-plumb bow and high freeboard forward give Abely a sturdy stance in the water, while the sweeping sheer line stops the profile from feeling heavy. Stainless steel guardrails curve cleanly around the foredeck and reinforce the yacht’s practical offshore character.

Large rectangular windows run through the main deck accommodation spaces, bringing more natural light into the interior than many explorer-style yachts of this era. Below, a line of round portholes and hull openings adds to the traditional ship-like appearance. The wheelhouse glazing wraps widely around the front of the bridge deck, giving strong visibility forward and contributing to the yacht’s slightly retro commuter aesthetic.

Outdoor spaces focus on usability and long-range comfort. The aft deck holds a sheltered dining area for alfresco meals, protected by the extended upper deck overhang. Above, the flybridge incorporates additional seating and dining space beneath a large removable Bimini top, creating a relaxed upper deck area without adding excessive structural bulk to the profile.

Interior Design

Abely’s interior follows the same practical, understated approach as her exterior. The main saloon combines warm wood finishes with cream headlining, leather seating and large windows that bring in good natural light across the main deck. Loose furniture rather than fixed cabinetry keeps the space flexible and relaxed, while the saloon arrangement centres around a lounge area with a 72-inch LG television and Bose surround sound system.

Forward of the saloon, the dining area is arranged around a large square table with fixed leather seating for up to eight guests. The layout keeps the atmosphere informal and sociable rather than highly formal, which suits the yacht’s long-range cruising brief.

Accommodation

Abely offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (60 Series) 600hp engines, motor yacht Abely is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 22,400 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
