Delivered in 2006, Bina is a 42.65m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Mondo Marine. Ruggiero srl's team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht, alongside her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Bina Mondomarine 43.25m (141.9ft) motor yacht
  • Twin tender setup including 10m (32ft) Intrepid
  • Cruising speed 14 knots
  • Large sundeck with central Jacuzzi, bar and dining

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.66m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 399 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Bina is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with a classic tri-deck profile that carries volume evenly from bow to stern. The lines are clean and rounded, with a slightly raised bow and a long, continuous band of glazing along the main deck, while the upper levels step back in tiers to open up deck space.

The sundeck forms the main outdoor hub, arranged with a Jacuzzi set centrally and surrounded by sunpads, loungers, a bar and a dining area, so the space works as a single social zone rather than separate pockets. Below, the upper deck continues that layout with lounge seating and open areas, while the aft deck connects directly to the main saloon through large openings.

Forward, the foredeck is kept practical with clear walkways and low-profile fittings, while the overall deck arrangement keeps movement simple between levels. The stern section leads down toward the swim platform, which acts as the base for water access and tender operations.

Interior Design

The interior uses a more traditional approach, with satin-finished mahogany joined by myrtle and ebony inlays, so the spaces feel warm without becoming heavy. Large windows run along the main saloon, bringing in natural light and opening up the seating areas.

The main saloon is arranged around oversized sofas, with a pop-up television set to starboard and a granite-topped bar integrated into the space, so it can shift between lounge and entertainment use. Above, the upper deck saloon adds another social area with sofas, low tables and a bar, while maintaining a more relaxed layout.

Accommodation

Bina accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, with the layout split between the main and lower decks.

The master suite sits on the main deck and spans the full beam, with large windows bringing in natural light, while a VIP cabin is also positioned on this level. The lower deck holds two further full-beam VIP cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths, so the layout adapts to mixed groups.

All cabins have en suite bathrooms and integrated entertainment systems, while crew accommodation for up to 11 crew supports full service on board.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508 B) 1,500hp engines running at 1925rpm, motor yacht Bina is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 93,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Bina also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
