Delivered in 2006, Day Off is a 27.03m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Ferretti Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon, while Ferretti Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.
Key Features
- Floor-to-ceiling master cabin windows
- Stern beach club with platform
- Marble bathrooms with premium finishes
- Flybridge with jacuzzi and dining
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.72m beam and a 1.96m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 108 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Day Off is a flybridge motor yacht designed inside and out by Zuccon International Project. Her lines follow the familiar Ferretti aesthetic, with a sleek, sporty profile and large hull windows that bring light into the lower deck. The exterior layout is geared toward both relaxation and entertainment, starting with a large aft platform that functions as a waterside beach club, ideal for swimming and launching water toys.
The flybridge is designed as a social hub, complete with a jacuzzi and seating spaces suited to open-air dining or lounging. Her black flybridge hardtop incorporates hydraulic elements for shade and lighting, while the stern includes a hydraulic boarding gangway. A third control station is located in the cockpit for easy docking. Underwater lights and both bow and stern thrusters enhance her manoeuvrability and nighttime presence.
Navigation and control systems include a full suite of SIMRAD instruments and GEONAV displays at both the flybridge and helm. Additional gear includes a wind station, autopilot, VHF, SSB radio telephone, and NAVIOP monitoring. The yacht features 3 helm/control stations in total, with 4 Besenzoni electric helm seats and monitoring for portholes and doors via a CCTV system with four cameras.
Interior Design
Inside, Day Off offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with a focus on practicality and ease of use. The main saloon brings together soft furnishings and elegant finishes in a layout suited to both quiet evenings and social gatherings. Full air conditioning throughout ensures comfort in all climates, delivered by a powerful 120,000 BTU reverse-cycle system.
Entertainment options include a surround-sound system in the master suite, satellite TV and DVD functionality, and integrated audio systems throughout. TV and surveillance feeds are distributed via a central modulator, with CCTV coverage linked to the yacht’s internal monitoring system.
The galley is well-equipped for both day-to-day use and extended cruising. A Bosch oven and Delonghi espresso machine form the core of the cooking setup, supported by refrigerators in the galley, saloon, flybridge, and crew mess, plus a freezer in the engine room. A 5kg washer and separate dryer are located in the main laundry area.
At the helm, the bridge features a blend of analog controls and digital systems, including dual SIMRAD displays, radar, autopilot, and a GEONAV touchscreen interface. A second station on the flybridge provides open-air command, while a third control point in the cockpit supports tight manoeuvring when needed. Four Besenzoni helm seats ensure the helm area remains comfortable and functional on longer passages.
Accommodation
Day Off accommodates up to 10 guests across four ensuite staterooms. The arrangement includes two double cabins and two twins, each with its own bathroom finished in marble. All guest cabins are fitted with entertainment systems, satellite access, and direct phone lines.
The master suite spans the full beam and makes full use of its footprint, featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows, a walk-in wardrobe, and an expansive bathroom. This includes his-and-hers sinks, toilet and bidet facilities, a separate shower, and a hot tub.
The two twin cabins are positioned port and starboard, each with their own ensuite shower room and built-in storage. A fourth guest cabin features a double bed with an additional Pullman berth, offering sleeping space for three and its own private bathroom.
Crew accommodation consists of two cabins for a total of four crew members. These are supported by a shared bathroom and a dedicated crew mess, which includes a refrigerator, TV/DVD system, and a height-adjustable dinette table. Functional details like extractor fans and mosquito screens on portholes add to the practicality of this area.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 2,030hp engines, motor yacht Day Off is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 355 nautical miles at 26 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
