Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.28m beam and a 1.62m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 127 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Hatteras 80 design.
Exterior Design
Hope is an 80ft class Hatteras Motor Yacht from the Mk I generation, and the design leans into volume and practicality as much as style. The wide 6.48m (21ft 3in) beam is clear in profile, so the hull carries its width forward and gives the yacht a fuller, more upright stance than earlier Hatteras models. The bow is broad with a gentle convex form, which increases internal volume while also softening the entry through the water.
The superstructure uses large sections of glazing along the main deck, replacing the smaller traditional portlights seen on older builds, so the exterior reads more modern while also improving light inside. The hull sides still carry classic round portholes lower down, which adds a link back to the yard’s earlier styling.
The flybridge sits under a hardtop and is arranged as a proper upper deck, with an enclosed helm, seating, and a wet bar, so it works in a wider range of conditions than an open layout. Aft, the main deck is set up for outdoor dining with space for a full table, while the deck flows directly down to a hydraulic swim platform that handles tender storage and water access.
Forward, the bow is used as a second social space with built-in seating and sunpad areas, while the side decks run wide and secure along both sides of the yacht, so movement between areas stays simple and safe.

Hope offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-30) 1,550hp engines, motor yacht Hope is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 19 knots. With her 8,168 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 345 nautical miles at 19 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
