Delivered in 2000, Kokotea is an award winning 40.4m sail yacht for sale built by New Zealander shipyard Alloy Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Dubois, while RWD is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.3m beam and a 4.2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 199 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 1998. She was delivered to her owners in April 2000.
Accommodation
Kokotea offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 1 x diesel Caterpillar (C18) 1,085hp engines, motor yacht Kokotea is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 23,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
