More Details

Delivered in 2014, Ritz Sea is a 24.38m motor yacht for sale built by American shipyard Hatteras. Hatteras' team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht, alongside her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Shaded alfresco cockpit dining for eight
  • Enclosed flybridge with wet bar, seating
  • Full-beam master with centerline king berth
  • Island galley with premium Wolf appliances.

Design & Construction

Designed around a modified v-hull fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 6.48m beam and a 1.73m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 154 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the forty-sixth yacht built on the Hatteras 80 design.

Exterior Design

The Hatteras 80 Motor Yacht RITZ SEA carries the broad-shouldered profile typical of the American builder’s larger cruising yachts, though the sweeping window lines and sculpted glazing help soften the yacht’s substantial volume. The wide 6.48m (21.3ft) beam is immediately apparent in profile, while the high freeboard and pronounced bow flare give the yacht a strong offshore stance underway.

The exterior styling moves away from the narrower Hargrave-era Hatteras profiles and leans into a fuller, more contemporary silhouette built around interior volume and long-range comfort. A spoon-shaped bow transitions into deep walkaround side decks with solid bulwarks, while the dark glazing bands stretch almost uninterrupted across the superstructure and visually lower the yacht’s height.

The aft cockpit functions as a shaded waterside dining area with seating for up to eight guests beneath the overhang of the enclosed flybridge above. Teak decking runs throughout the exterior spaces and adds warmth against the clean white hull and superstructure, while blue detailing along the boot stripe and waterline subtly breaks up the profile.

Forward, the foredeck creates a quieter lounging area centred around a three-person sunpad with deployable shade coverage. Side deck access remains straightforward from both the cockpit and interior side doors, so guests can move naturally between exterior areas without crossing through the main saloon.

The enclosed flybridge is one of the yacht’s defining exterior features. Rather than functioning purely as an open upper helm, the deck combines interior sky lounge protection with open-air aft entertaining space beneath an extendable awning. Multiple dining arrangements, a U-shaped sofa and loose seating allow the area to adapt between formal dining and casual lounging, while the elevated position gives broad views aft and across the surrounding anchorage.

Done Deal features shaded alfresco dining, a luxurious full-beam master, and a well-equipped island galley.

Interior Design

RITZ SEA’s interior combines traditional American motor yacht proportions with warmer contemporary detailing, creating spaces that feel open, practical and notably social. Large windows dominate the main deck and draw significant daylight into the saloon, while pale soft furnishings and dark timber contrasts help break up the yacht’s substantial interior volume.

The main saloon uses a relaxed lounge arrangement rather than a heavily formal layout. To starboard, a sunken wet bar finished with a backlit onyx countertop forms a natural gathering point for evening entertaining, while the port side uses an L-shaped sofa, lounge chair and ottoman to shape a more conversational seating area. Forward, a formal dining space accommodates eight guests beneath the long glazing bands running through the superstructure.

The galley sits slightly forward and adopts a highly functional island arrangement with premium domestic appliances from Wolf, Sub-Zero and Miele. Full-height refrigeration, induction cooking, wine storage and extensive countertop space give the room a genuine liveaboard feel, while the breakfast dinette positioned ahead of the galley creates a more casual dining setting away from the formal saloon table.

Above, the enclosed flybridge effectively functions as a second interior lounge. A wet bar, C-shaped dinette and additional sofa seating create a comfortable all-weather social area around the upper helm, while large windows maintain clear sightlines outside. Wine refrigeration and integrated service areas reinforce the deck’s entertaining focus without overwhelming the space.

Accommodation

RITZ SEA accommodates up to eight guests across four ensuite staterooms, alongside crew accommodation for four in two cabins.

The full-beam master suite sits amidships and uses the yacht’s wide beam to create a noticeably spacious owner’s cabin centred around a king-size berth. Large hull windows introduce natural light into the suite, while the ensuite bathroom occupies generous proportions relative to the yacht’s size category.

Forward in the bow, the VIP cabin uses a centreline queen berth and ensuite arrangement, while a second double guest cabin to port also benefits from its own queen berth and private bathroom. The final guest cabin sits to starboard and uses twin single berths with ensuite facilities, giving the layout flexibility for mixed guest groups or family cruising.

Crew accommodation is positioned separately and includes two cabins sleeping up to four crew members.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 Acert) 1,600hp engines, motor yacht Ritz Sea is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 10,819 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 345 nautical miles at 20 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Done Deal combines a semi-displacement GRP hull for efficient performance and a classic spoon bow shape for elegance.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Ritz Sea also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
