Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.25m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 245 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the RJ 102 design. Launched in May 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Cantiere delle Marche's Cantiere delle Marche yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Mon Coeur demonstrates how far the explorer yacht segment has evolved. Built by Cantiere delle Marche and designed by Francesco Paszkowski, the 31m (101.7ft) RJ102 takes the long-range capability that underpins the RJ series and wraps it in a considerably more refined package than many traditional expedition yachts.
The profile carries clear family ties to the larger RJ models. Strong horizontal lines, expansive glazing and carefully controlled proportions give the yacht a confident presence that feels larger than her length suggests. This was a key part of the design brief. Paszkowski sought to preserve the visual authority of the larger RJ yachts while adapting the concept to a more compact platform.
Large dark glazing panels dominate the profile and visually reduce the height of the superstructure. The angular treatment around the wheelhouse and upper deck introduces a contemporary edge, while the flowing stern softens the overall composition.
The bow adopts a gentle flare that adds reserve buoyancy and contributes to the yacht's expedition credentials without resorting to the exaggerated forms often seen on purpose-built explorer vessels. Combined with the sweeping sheerline, it creates a profile that feels capable rather than aggressive.
Transparency plays an important role throughout the design. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and transparent upper-deck bulwarks improve sightlines and help connect interior spaces with the surrounding environment. From outside, these elements also reduce visual mass and contribute to the yacht's relatively light appearance despite a full-load displacement of 250 tonnes.
The outdoor areas reflect the owners' cruising ambitions. More than 200m² (2,153ft²) of exterior space is spread across three decks, including an upper-deck dip pool and dedicated sunbathing area. Deep overhangs provide shelter from sun and weather, which becomes increasingly important on a yacht intended for long periods away from traditional cruising grounds.
Interior Design
Giorgio M. Cassetta approached Mon Coeur's interior as a home first and a yacht second. The brief centred on creating a comfortable base for a couple intending to spend extended periods aboard while exploring distant cruising grounds. One of the clearest examples is the large owner-operated galley. On many yachts of this size, food preparation remains entirely within the crew domain. Here, the owners wanted a more personal connection to daily life aboard.
Accommodation
Mon Coeur accommodates up to nine guests across four suites and carries a crew of five.
The accommodation arrangement reflects the owners' decision to prioritise space over capacity. Four guest suites provide sleeping accommodation for a relatively small group compared with many yachts of similar length, creating a more private and residential atmosphere aboard.
The owner's suite forms the centrepiece of the layout, while three additional guest cabins accommodate family and friends. One cabin includes a Pullman berth, allowing the yacht to host a ninth guest when required.
This arrangement aligns closely with the yacht's intended role as a long-range cruising platform for a couple who regularly host a limited number of guests rather than operating as a high-capacity charter yacht.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin Caterpillar (C18 Acert) 608hp engines, motor yacht Mon Coeur is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 30,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
