Design & Construction

Designed around a planing aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.8m beam and a 1.5m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 183 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The Thunderball yacht is a high-speed US-built motor yacht with a long, low profile shaped around performance. Her sharp bow and clean hull lines reduce drag, while the continuous band of dark glazing lowers the visual height and gives the yacht a fast, purposeful look.

The aft deck is wide and open, and it is arranged for social use with built-in seating, side access gates and a wet bar to starboard with sink, refrigerator and icemaker. Large plexiglass doors link this space directly to the main saloon, so indoor and outdoor areas connect as one.

A full-width swim platform sits just above the waterline and provides easy access for swimming, diving and tender use, while a passerelle and side ladders allow flexible boarding. Above, the Thunderball yacht flybridge adds another usable deck with a secondary helm, wing control stations, fixed seating and a service counter with refrigeration. The aft section carries two waverunners with a davit, so the deck supports both leisure and storage.

Interior Design

The Thunderball yacht interior is built around entertaining, with a large open-plan main saloon that supports both casual use and larger gatherings. To starboard, a full bar with five stools forms a central social point, while to port a large L-shaped sofa seats up to 10 guests. Additional armchairs and loose tables create separate seating zones across the space.

Natural light enters through large side windows, and the aft deck connection keeps the saloon open and bright. Forward, a circular table works as a breakfast or games area, and a pop-up television and entertainment system are integrated into the layout.

The galley sits forward and is fully equipped for high-capacity service, while a semi-formal dining area for eight guests sits just ahead. A partial divider separates the spaces, so service remains practical while the dining area keeps a more defined setting.

This layout allows the Thunderball motor yacht to host large groups, with the main interior and deck areas designed to handle events of up to 60 guests.

Accommodation

The Thunderball yacht offers accommodation for 8 guests across four cabins, with a layout that prioritises owner space.

The full-beam master suite sits on the lower deck and is accessed via a private staircase from the main saloon. It includes a king-size bed, seating area, vanity and extensive storage with separate wardrobes. The en suite bathroom has twin sinks and a two-person Jacuzzi bath.

Forward, the VIP cabin in the bow features a double berth, storage and an en suite bathroom. Two additional guest cabins sit port and starboard, each with twin beds and en suite facilities, so the yacht suits a mix of guests and family use.

Crew accommodation for 6 is separate and includes three cabins and a dedicated mess area, so the yacht supports full service during extended cruising.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V396 TB94) 3,500hp engines, motor yacht Thunderball is capable of reaching a top speed of 40 knots, and comfortably cruises at 35 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.
