The 42m GX Superyachts GX42 RPH has been designed by Marco Casali of Too Design, who is responsible for both the exterior and interior styling, with naval architecture by NAMES by Francesco Rogantin.

The superyacht has been developed around an owner's brief that prioritised reduced environmental impact, long-term usability and contemporary onboard living. The aluminium motor yacht pairs clean architectural styling with hybrid propulsion and integrated solar technology, creating a platform designed for efficient long-range cruising. The raised pilothouse configuration provides clear separation between guest and operational areas while maintaining generous interior volume and open sightlines throughout the yacht.

Outdoor spaces create a closer connection with the sea
Marco Casali's exterior design is characterised by strong horizontal lines, expansive glazing and clean architectural surfaces. At the stern, fold-down beach club wings and a hydraulic swim platform transform the aft section into a generous waterside lounge, while the large flybridge provides dedicated spaces for dining, relaxation and open-air navigation beneath a sleek hardtop. Integrated into the hardtop are up to 27kW of solar panels, supporting the yacht's hybrid propulsion system while preserving the clean profile.
Contemporary interiors prioritise family living
The interior has been designed around family cruising, using flowing lines, natural textures and a restrained palette to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Foglizzo leathers and Cadorin wood flooring feature throughout the living spaces, while large windows maximise natural light and strengthen the connection between the interior and the surrounding environment. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a generous owner's suite and flexible guest accommodation suited to extended cruising.
Hybrid propulsion enhances long-range capability
Built around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure, the GX42 RPH reaches a top speed of 16 knots, cruises comfortably at 12 knots and offers a maximum range of 11,571 nautical miles at 6 knots, reflecting its focus on extended passages and efficient operation.
GX Superyachts continues to expand its model range
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, there are currently two GX Superyachts in the order book. Alongside the GX42 RPH, the 38m GX38 Voyager continues the builder's focus on efficient long-range cruising, offering a more compact platform while retaining the same emphasis on hybrid technology and owner-focused design.
