59m Amels Expedition Yacht Just B Sold

The 59m expedition yacht Just B has been sold, with Jim Evans of SuperYachts Monaco representing the seller and Radek Gendek of  Luxury Charter Group introducing the buyer. The yacht had a last known asking price of €24,500,000.

Built by Dutch shipyard Amels in 1973, Just B underwent an extensive conversion into a luxury expedition yacht, followed by a refit in 2024. Her exterior design is credited to Indart Ltd, with interiors by Southampton Yacht Services and Nicholson Interiors and naval architecture by Amels. She features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and an internal volume of 969 GT.

The interior of the motor yacht features mahogany joinery, dark leather, wool carpeting and pale Irish linens, creating a warm, traditional atmosphere. The main saloon incorporates large windows, a jade-marble fireplace and arched glass doors opening onto the exterior dining area. A separate library, private office and formal dining area with a 12-seat mahogany table provide additional spaces for entertaining, while a more informal saloon offers a relaxed setting for guests.

The yacht retains much of her working-vessel character, with a raked bow, grey hull and contrasting white superstructure. Her covered aft deck features a large dining table, with built-in sofas positioned along the stern overlooking the water. Above, an expansive open deck provides a separate sunbathing area, with loungers arranged beneath large parasols. For buyers exploring more contemporary designs from the Dutch shipyard, the Amels 60 offers an alternative approach to outdoor living.

The accommodation pairs rich timber detailing with white panelling, soft carpeting and blue accents, creating a bright, understated atmosphere. Guest cabins feature contemporary furnishings, while bathrooms continue the lighter palette with dark wood cabinetry and polished fittings. The yacht also provides accommodation for up to 17 crew and received the Master Cabin award at The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2024.
