The launch represents a significant moment for Turquoise Yachts, which has spent more than three decades building a reputation for large, technically complex custom yachts.
The new superyacht also sets a national benchmark as the largest yacht ever built in Turkey and marks the latest milestone in a long-running partnership with H2 Yacht Design.
Seventeen years of collaboration
Angelique is the result of an established working relationship between Turquoise Yachts and H2 Yacht Design that now spans more than 17 years and a dozen projects. H2 is responsible for both the exterior styling and interior design, while Turquoise Yachts handled naval architecture and construction in-house.
Turquoise Yachts CEO Burak Akgül described the launch as a defining achievement for the yard, pointing to the scale of the project and the level of coordination required across design, engineering, and build teams. Sold in 2021 and constructed under Lloyd’s Register class, the yacht moved from Turquoise’s Kocaeli facility to Pendik in 2023 for outfitting, before entering the water in January 2026 ahead of sea trials.
A five-deck exterior focused on volume, flow, and usability
At 87.7m with a gross tonnage of 2,550 GT, Angelique carries substantial volume, yet her exterior lines are softened through balanced proportions and flowing surfaces. The deep blue hull, described by the yard as Tour de France Blue, is paired with a sculpted aluminum superstructure featuring angled grilles and aft louvre detailing that add texture without visual weight.
Exterior spaces are arranged with a clear focus on usability and separation. At water level, a fully enclosed, drive-in tender dock leads into a large beach club with fold-down terraces to port and starboard. Skylights above bring natural light down from the pool deck, creating a bright space close to the sea that can be used throughout the day.
As the largest yacht ever built in Turkey, Vento reflects the collective expertise, dedication and passion applied to designing, engineering and crafting yachts at Turquoise."

On the main deck aft, a 6.5m glass-sided swimming pool with counterflow jet stream forms a central social hub, framed by protected seating. Above, the owner’s deck aft centers on a flexible bar and dining area that can be enclosed via sliding glass doors, adapting the space to changing weather and privacy needs.
Forward on the owner’s deck, a private terrace incorporates a recessed seating area and a jacuzzi, positioned to feel distinctly separate from guest circulation. A touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck doubles as a basketball court, reinforcing the yacht’s multi-use approach to deck planning.
The bridge deck offers additional outdoor lounging aft, while a dedicated seating area forward provides a recreational zone for crew. At the top of the yacht, the sundeck is laid out as an all-day living space, with casual seating, an outdoor cinema, a large bar, and an outdoor kitchen equipped with BBQ and teppanyaki grill. Fixed sunpads and a forward jacuzzi complete the arrangement.
An Art Deco-influenced interior
The interior design draws inspiration from an earlier Turquoise and H2 collaboration, the 77m Go, which the client had previously experienced. According to H2 founder Jonny Horsfield, Angelique develops that Art Deco–influenced direction further, refining the detailing and adapting it to the owner’s lifestyle.
Throughout the interior, blue accents and decorative finishes are used to define spaces intended for both social activity and quieter retreat. The main saloon centers on a statement bar and circular seating arrangement, paired with a formal dining table for up to 16 guests. On the owner’s deck, a more relaxed saloon includes informal seating, a cinema screen, and a games table.
Guest accommodation is arranged on the main deck and comprises two VIP cabins and four guest cabins, each with its own color palette and decorative identity. The owner’s suite occupies the forward section of the owner’s deck and includes a private lounge, office, his-and-hers dressing rooms, and an elevated breakfast table positioned for uninterrupted views over the bow. Sliding glass doors open directly onto the private terrace with jacuzzi.
A bridge deck designed around wellbeing
A defining feature of Angelique’s layout is the dedication of the bridge deck to health and wellness. A large gym with extensive glazing offers views on three sides and connects directly to a wellness suite with sauna, hammam, and beauty treatment room.
An open stair atrium links all decks, visually anchored by a suspended glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly that forms a dramatic centerpiece within the motor yacht’s vertical circulation.
Angelique is built on a displacement steel hull with an aluminum superstructure and is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M65L engines, each producing 2,574hp at 1,800rpm. This setup delivers a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Following delivery, Angelique will enter the charter market through Edmiston, with charter management led by Robert Shepherd. Owner’s representation throughout the build was provided by Occam Marine, whose co-founder Giles Frankal highlighted the transparency and shared commitment between all parties involved.
A growing order book in the 75m-plus segment
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database, Turquoise Yachts currently has 5 large superyachts in build or in advanced planning. Alongside the newly launched 88m Angelique, the fleet includes the 81m Rafale, due for delivery in 2028, which introduces hybrid propulsion and three swimming pools across five sculpted decks.
Also progressing toward completion is the 80m Bravo, scheduled for delivery in 2026, featuring exterior styling by Vallicelli Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design. Rounding out the trio is the 76m expedition-style Project Arrow, also due in 2026, which adopts a darker, more angular exterior profile and a reduced top speed in favor of long-range capability.
With Angelique now afloat and entering her final commissioning phase, Turquoise Yachts has set a new domestic benchmark while reinforcing its position in the global large-yacht market. As the yard’s largest and most complex project to date, the 87.7m flagship signals both technical maturity and growing confidence at the very top end of custom yacht construction.
