Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 43'4" beam and a 12'10" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 2,250 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
At 81m (265.7ft), Rafale has a flowing profile by Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design. Her hull is finished in a deep steel-blue tone that contrasts with the crisp white of the superstructure, creating a strong, layered look. The sheer line sweeps in a continuous wave from bow to stern, visually stretching her five decks and giving the yacht a fluid, sculptural presence. Dark glazing wraps around each level in seamless bands, emphasising the sleek form while ensuring panoramic views from within.
The superstructure is shaped with reverse chamfering, where concave planes replace the usual convex bulges, adding sharpness and architectural clarity. Combined with the stepped, cascading decks, the effect is both elegant and modern, with an aesthetic that feels timeless but fresh.
Although based on Turquoise’s proven 80m platform, Rafale represents a complete visual rethink, intended to deliver a more classically inspired big-yacht silhouette while retaining a contemporary edge.
Outdoor living has been arranged across tiered decks, blending wide open terraces with more private corners. A generous beach club opens on three sides at water level, creating a direct link with the sea. Three swimming pools are set on the main, owner and sun decks, each with its own character and outlook. Shaded lounges, open dining areas and sweeping aft platforms combine to provide spaces for both large gatherings and quiet retreats.
Accommodation
Rafale offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. The owner’s suite includes a personal office, his and hers dressing rooms and bathrooms, and opens directly onto a forward terrace with its own pool. This combination of indoor and outdoor space provides a high level of privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the sea.
Guest accommodation is arranged across six further cabins, allowing the yacht to host up to 12 guests in comfort. These cabins are supported by a range of lounges and entertainment areas across three decks, all linked by a scuplted spiral staircase.
She is also capable of carrying up to 20 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel-electric MTU (MTU 12V4000 M65L) 2,574hp engines, motor yacht Rafale is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots. The propulsion system is hybrid, pairing the twin MTU engines with a 1,920kWh battery capacity to support more efficient operating modes and reduced emissions.
