Marking the latest evolution of the Bluegame BGX range, the 83-foot model arrives as the largest and most developed expression of a design concept first introduced with the BGX73 and BGX63.
Positioned as the next step in Bluegame’s owner-focused philosophy, the BGX83 expands the range’s defining ideas around space, connection to the sea, and unconventional layout, while pushing volume and onboard experience into territory more commonly associated with much larger yachts.
Interior layout built around light and circulation
The BGX83’s interior is organized around a clear connection between living spaces and the sea, with the aft salon positioned directly at water level. Rather than acting as a secondary lounge, this area forms a central part of the onboard living arrangement, opening straight onto the beach area to create a continuous indoor-outdoor zone.
On the main deck, the interior layout of the yacht benefits from an asymmetric design that places a single staircase to starboard, freeing up additional width for the dining area. This approach allows for a more generous table arrangement and creates space for a customizable outdoor bar and galley module, giving owners flexibility in how the deck is used.
The upper salon is arranged with two opposing sofas and wrapped in full-height glazing on all sides. This configuration reinforces openness and sightlines while maintaining a structured seating area suitable for both social use and relaxed cruising.
Exterior layout prioritizing water access
The exterior design of the BGX83 focuses on maximizing usable space aft, where the crossover philosophy is most clearly expressed. The stern has been reworked to create a larger beach area that functions as an open-air lounge rather than a traditional swim platform or toy storage zone.
This space includes a hydraulic up-and-down platform and now features a starboard-side opening section, widening the footprint at water level and strengthening the physical connection to the sea. The result is a stern layout designed for everyday use, with direct access between exterior and interior spaces.
We created a genuine apartment on the water where the perception of inside and outside disappears. From the expandable beach club to the full-beam master suite, every line is designed to deliver a superyacht experience in an 83-foot yacht."

The motor yacht’s profile retains the robust, purposeful character associated with the BGX range, scaling the design language up for a larger platform without altering its fundamental proportions.
Accommodation centered on a full-beam master
Accommodation on board the BGX83 is centered around a full-beam owner’s suite located on the lower deck. Measuring 6.3 meters across, the master cabin spans the full width of the hull and connects directly to the aft salon, effectively extending the owner’s private living space toward the stern.
This arrangement creates a secluded apartment-style environment that prioritizes privacy while maintaining immediate proximity to the water. Forward of the owner’s suite, the yacht offers either two or three VIP cabins depending on the chosen configuration, each designed with dimensions that exceed typical expectations for this size range.
Crew quarters are discreetly arranged to support efficient service without interfering with guest circulation, reinforcing the yacht’s owner-centric layout.
Power comes from three Volvo Penta IPS 1200 units, with D13 engines producing 900 horsepower each. This setup delivers a cruising speed of around 28 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots.
The design team shaping the BGX83
The BGX83 brings together a familiar design team, each contributing to a different aspect of the project. The overall concept is led by Bluegame founder and head of product strategy Luca Santella, who has guided the crossover philosophy since the range’s inception.
Exterior styling is by Zuccon International Project, whose work gives the yacht a protective, composed profile that aligns with Bluegame’s established design language while adapting it for a larger hull. The first unit features interiors by Piero Lissoni, whose architectural approach introduces restraint and material clarity across the living spaces.
Together, the collaboration focuses on proportion, geometry, and spatial flow, with design decisions driven by use rather than decoration.
Market response ahead of Düsseldorf debut
According to Bluegame, the first units of the BGX83 were secured by owners prior to the public launch, with early buyers returning to the brand for a third time. This early uptake highlights strong loyalty within the BGX owner community and reinforces the model’s role as a flagship within the range.
The BGX83 will make its public debut on the opening day of Boot Düsseldorf 2026, where it will be presented as the most complete expression of Bluegame’s crossover concept to date, extending the range’s core ideas into a larger, more capable platform.
Placing the BGX83 within the BGX family
The BGX83 sits at the top of Bluegame’s crossover lineup, building directly on ideas first explored with the BGX63 and BGX73, both of which have undergone full independent YachtBuyer reviews, but at a scale that allows those concepts to fully mature.

ON BOARDBluegame BGX63 Review (2020 Edition)
Where the 20m Bluegame BGX63 introduced the waterline-focused lifestyle, with its open aft deck flowing into a lower salon and owner’s cabin, the BGX83 takes that same relationship and stretches it across a much larger platform, delivering greater volume, clearer separation, and a more defined owner apartment.

ON BOARDBluegame BGX73 Review (2019 Edition)
The Bluegame BGX73 pushed the philosophy further, prioritizing the owner to an unusual degree for its size. Its two-cabin emphasis, full-beam owner’s space, and sheltered stern terrace made it one of the most distinctive yachts in the segment.
During independent YachtBuyer testing, the BGX73 achieved an impressive 4.5-star score and came close to the YB five-star threshold required to enter the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame, a rare distinction reached by fewer than nine percent of tested yachts. The Hall of Fame is reserved for models that earn a flawless score through YachtBuyer’s fully independent, self-funded sea trials, with no sponsorship or commercial influence.

Against that backdrop, the BGX83 can be seen as the most complete execution yet. It retains the owner-first mindset of the BGX73 and the water-level living of the BGX63, but adds the space, flexibility, and refinement expected of a flagship, positioning it as the natural progression for existing BGX owners looking to step up in scale.
