Watch the Final Preparations Begin on the First Forte 47 Boat Ahead of Launch

Forte Yachts is nearing the final stages of construction on the first Forte 47, the model that introduces the young builder to the luxury dayboat and compact yacht market.

The 47-footer has been positioned as a small yacht built with the processes, finishes, and attention to detail more often associated with larger custom projects, and the yard reports strong progress as launch approaches in the coming weeks.

Exterior Milestones Reach Completion

Recent work on the exterior brought several key phases to a close. The hull received a superyacht-grade paint application, followed by the installation of the curved glass and the final teak decking.

Every detail, from the exterior lines to the interior finishes, reflects our philosophy: unique design, tailor-made quality, and absolute attention to detail."

These steps formed the backbone of the model’s exterior presentation and cleared the way for teams to move indoors for the final outfitting.

Interior Fit-Out Moves Into Final Phase

The interior of the boat is now the focus. Paolo Giordano shaped the layout and styling, and Genesis Interiors is delivering the technical and material work.

Full-scale mock-ups guided the build to ensure accuracy in dimensions and sightlines, while specialist craftsmen from larger-yacht programs handled the finishing details. The two-cabin arrangement sits at the core of the plan, paired with a generous central living area aimed at day cruising and short passages.

Materials sit at the higher end of the segment, chosen to elevate the feel of a 47-foot yacht into territory usually occupied by larger builds.

A Controlled Push Toward Debut

With most components installed and only a few remaining tasks in progress, the yard reports a stable path toward launch.

Co-founder Fernando Moricca said the project is tracking closely to the original vision for the boat, praising the alignment between the exterior form and the interior execution. He added that only small steps remain before the team can bring the first Forte 47 to the water and introduce it publicly.
