Marking the first unit in its 50m Elite Series and the fourth hull in the yard’s established 50m platform, the project represents a shift in the partnership between yard and studio.
While earlier collaboration centered on interior work of the yacht, this new Elite Series platform has been conceived and developed in full by the Italian design firm, spanning exterior styling and interior architecture under a unified brief.
A New Chapter in the 50m Platform
DaGuSha VII remains just under the 500 GT threshold, with a reported gross tonnage of 499 GT. That positioning continues to be central to the platform’s appeal - maximizing internal volume while retaining operational advantages tied to sub-500 GT classification.
Construction is now underway at Ada Yacht Works’ facilities in Türkiye following the keel-laying ceremony. The yacht joins three other 50-meter builds currently in progress at the yard. The Elite Series marks the first time Luca Dini’s studio has taken full control of the superyacht's exterior and interior language.
Luca Dini, President and CEO of the Florence-based studio, described the project as a natural progression in the relationship between the two companies, emphasizing the value of developing a cohesive design narrative across the entire yacht.
Clean Lines and Spatial Continuity
At 49.9 meters LOA, the motor yacht features a steel hull paired with an aluminum superstructure. The design direction focuses on clean, architectural lines and a clear visual link between indoor and outdoor areas. The studio describes the approach as centered on proportion and harmony, with a lifestyle-driven layout that prioritizes fluid transitions between decks.
The emphasis on continuity is central to the Elite Series concept. By overseeing both exterior and interior development, Luca Dini’s team has shaped a consistent aesthetic from profile to detailing, rather than working within a predefined exterior framework. Key dimensions include an 8.9-meter beam and a draft of 2.6 meters. Full-load displacement is reported at 495 tonnes.
Power comes from twin MAN D2862 LE489 engines, each rated at 1066 kW at 2100 rpm, equivalent to 1450 PS per engine. The projected maximum speed is 16.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots. Electrical supply is supported by three 80 kW generators. Naval architecture for DaGuSha VII is by Ginton Naval Architects, with engineering handled by The Circle Naval Architecture.
Living Spaces Within the Sub-500GT Limit
Accommodation is arranged for up to 14 guests across six cabins. Crew quarters comprise five cabins for a staff of 10. While detailed layout plans have not yet been released, the guest capacity suggests a main-deck owner’s suite alongside additional guest cabins on the lower deck, consistent with the platform’s scale.
Designing both the exterior and interior allowed us to create a seamless design language throughout the yacht, where proportion, harmony, and lifestyle are perfectly aligned."

LUCA DINI Design & Architecture
The under-500 GT volume allows for generous interior proportions within regulatory constraints. Previous collaboration between Ada Yacht Works and Luca Dini began with the interior design of the 50-meter Legasea, presented at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show. Two further 50-meter units with Luca Dini interiors are also in build, reinforcing the studio’s ongoing role within the yard’s portfolio.
Positioning Within Ada Yacht Works’ Order Book
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Ada Yacht Works currently has three 50-meter yachts under construction, including this new Elite Series hull. The second, Yes to More, and third Ada 50 Z yacht in the broader series are approaching delivery, expanding the yard’s presence in the competitive sub-500 GT segment.
With the Elite Series, the shipyard adds a clearly defined design-led line to its offering, alongside the Ada 50 Z series. Rather than adjusting an existing platform with external styling input, this project has been shaped from the outset by a single studio responsible for both exterior and interior architecture.
Delivery of DaGuSha VII is scheduled for 2028, reinforcing Ada Yacht Works’ forward order book in the 50-meter class and signaling a more structured design identity for future builds in this size range.
