The SMERALDA 180 model was conceived from the very beginning for advanced pleasure use, featuring ample space on deck for passengers and spacious storage areas for equipment. Two generous sun pads, one aft and another in the bow area, both with generous storage space beneath, plus a spacious and comfortable deck area, a large steering console capable of housing a wide variety of instruments and in its interior base (upon request) even a larger than standard fuel tank and finally a driver’s seat positioned on the front end of the stern sun pad, including a reclining backrest.
Beneath the stern sun pad is a large storage locker and from here all boat systems can be easily accessed. The wide array of standard fittings and accessories is completed by a practical bow anchor guide with an incorporated mooring cleat, a foldable stern boarding ladder and various interior grab-lines in rope or fabric and grab-rails in stainless steel. The true strong point of the SMERALDA 180 though is the superior sea handling of this small but astounding RIB. On the waves it’s hard to believe it’s really only 5,5 metres long. The ride is always supple and stable, handling is guaranteed to be safe and dry at all times, even in adverse sea conditions.
