The Smeralda 280 was conceived to complete our collection of RIBs in the 7.5 to 10 meter range, with an innovative, comfortable and uncompromising boat. The Smeralda 280 is one of the most modern and versatile models of Sea Water’s entire production and also one of the newest in our line up. It excels as a pleasure boat but also as an elegant and efficient tender and chase-boat for yachts and it can guarantee performance, stability and safety of the highest standards, just like all other seawater RIBs.
This versatility is the result of a well designed deck layout which can provide great room on board and space to move around for passengers, assuring at the same time ample seating and comfort and safety at all times. A really spacious bow locker with a comfortable sun pad. An essential and elegant central steering helm, which offers great overhead protection with the newly designed Phantom style T top (Optional), used on the Phantom line of RIBs.
Performance is remarkable and adrenaline-pumping even with average output engine configurations and handling, safety and stability are, as always on all Sea Water RIBs, of the highest possible level.
