Although superyachts are focused on custom builds and lots of personalisation, some yacht constructors will start a build without a buyer in place and may even have a yacht ready for delivery.
These so-called spec builds (because they are built to preordained specification) offer that rarest of superyacht luxuries, instant, or close to instant, gratification. And while you will not have the same level of personalisation available to you in such a scenario, you may still be able to have a say on deck and interior finish.
