Horizon is a 28.5m motor yacht for sale delivered by Italian shipyard Benetti in 2016. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Benetti, while Stefano Righini is responsible for her exterior design.

Key Features

  • Full-beam main deck master suite
  • Wine fridge for 160 bottles
  • Sundeck with Jacuzzi & bar
  • Fold-down swim platform and garage

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.03m beam and a 2.05m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 152 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twelfth yacht built on the Delfino 93' design. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

Horizon measures 28.5m (93ft 5in) in length with a 7m (22ft 9in) beam. She is built in GRP with a semi-displacement grey hull drawn by Stefano Righini, combining stability with good performance. The exterior shows a crisp white superstructure set over three decks, with deep hull windows and cutaway bulwarks that bring more light into the interior and open up the views.

The main deck aft is arranged as a social space with a sofa lounge and a dining table crafted from a single piece of wood. Steps lead down to the beach platform, which folds open at the stern to give easy access to the water. The platform links directly with the tender garage, where a Williams tender and a jet ski are stored.

The bridge deck offers flexible use with a dining table, bar, and outdoor helm station. A sliding awning built into the hardtop allows this space to be shaded or left open. Forward is the pilothouse, equipped with Furuno navigation and sonar systems.

The sundeck tops the layout and has a generously sized Jacuzzi, sun loungers, grill, and gym equipment, with a bar and seating area forward. A sun pad and secondary helm station complete the setup, making this a lively spot for both relaxation and navigation.

The raised pilot house on Horizon gives sweeping 180° visibility.

Interior Design

Carlo Galeazzi’s interior design sets a warm and modern atmosphere with a palette of cream, chocolate brown, and low-gloss whitewashed oak accented by darker-stained timber. This theme continues in the marbles, leathers, and upholstery for a coherent yet lively finish.

The main saloon pairs soft cream carpets and ivory-toned furniture with darker flooring for a balanced look. Curved sofas and side tables create a welcoming lounge, while large windows frame the views and allow natural light to fill the space. Forward, a striking dining table designed by Venetian artist Renato Zambellan, with a Carrara marble top, sits opposite a Samsung TV screen, giving the area the flexibility of doubling as a cinema lounge.

Among the standout features of the saloon is a German-built wine fridge with capacity for up to 160 bottles, complete with dual-temperature zones for red and white wines. Storage has been carefully planned throughout, ensuring practicality matches style.

The galley, also on the main deck, is fitted entirely with Miele appliances, including oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer.

The wheelhouse follows a raised pilothouse design, positioned for excellent 180-degree visibility. It combines the captain’s working desk and storage with a guest seating area, so visitors can join while underway.

Accommodation

Horizon offers accommodation for 10 guests across five cabins, with quarters for up to four crew.

The main deck is home to the full-beam master suite, designed to feel spacious and self-contained. African Venge wood and mirrored panels create a calm, contemporary finish. Storage is integrated with wardrobes and drawers, while a vanity desk on the port side looks out across the sea.

The en suite is finished with traditional privacy in mind and features a bath, double sinks, head, and bidet. Emperador Dark stone provides the contrast against the pale oak cabinetry.

On the lower deck are four further guest cabins, all configured as doubles and all en suite. Two feature floating berths with discrete underlighting and crescent-shaped vanity tables. The en suites are finished in Emperador Light and coffee-coloured marbles, with generous showers.

Crew quarters are forward on the lower deck, arranged for four, with direct access to working areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V8 1000) 1,000hp engines, motor yacht Horizon is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 16,900 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.
